Doctor Who

Hi Cercia. I have reverted your edits to the Doctor Who article regarding your mum's involvement as that article is about the entire series, from 1963 to the present. However, perhaps you would like to add the reference to the articles on the individual stories your mum was involved in, namely Arc of Infinity and Terminus. Any information you could give on the development of the costumes in these stories I'm sure would also be welcome in those articles. --The Missing Hour 00:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Autumn Robson page

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.)

By the way, the message above is a standard template, and it's probably more strongly worded than it needs to be. Please don't let this put you off of editing Wikipedia! Autumn Robson

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Autumn Robson, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Well... no! There is no way to rearrange the logs on a special page. You did made the edits! So, they have to be logged, independently of the fact that your edits may have been reverted. The Ogre 15:16, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Archive

Regarding user talk pages, it is best to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this at Wikipedia:How to archive a talk page. Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages is often interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil. For this reason, if your deletion of notices and concerns on your user talk page is to keep the "clutter" down, I suggest that you instead create archives for these messages. --Geniac 18:16, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
