Welcome!

Hello Cellophanex, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, some of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a great page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  --Viridian {Talk} 06:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • To clarify the boilerplate text, I am specifically talking about the new pages you've created on various DeviantART topics. I didn't revert or edit your text, but I would suggest that you consider adding your contributions to the DeviantART article itself rather than making many new articles about relatively minor aspects of DeviantART (i.e. Photomanipulations, Daily Deviations). Articles that are considered too minor to merit their own articles are usually merged with larger articles. Again, welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contributions! --Viridian {Talk} 06:08, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • In response to your question on my talk page about merging: By adding the {{mergeto|PAGENAME}} (in this case, {{mergeto|DeviantART}}), it lists the article as a candidate to be merged. At that point, the administrators and those who work on WikiProjects that deal with merges will take care of the rest, I believe. If you want to know more about the merging process, you could check out this reference page. I'll be glad to answer any other questions you might have on my talk page (I have already replied to your most recent question there). --Viridian {Talk} 06:43, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions are considered non-notable and have been reverted or removed. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --kingboyk 08:05, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
