Intransa Page edit

Hello, I was trying to edit the Intransa page, but it looks like it was deleted due to many reasons. Mainly due to the fact that the page only referred to page form the website, as well as having a username that evoked conflict of interest. I tried going through the undeletion process, but was denied restoration. I was told that I should address you since you are the one that deleted it. I also posted a version of the edits I would like to make to the page on my userspace. Any comment are welcome since I would like to see this page be posted. This company is growing fast has made a significant impact on the security and surveillance industry, and is also partnered with major corporations. Please let me know,

Hi Cbroomhead,
Thanks for your note. I have placed your draft of Intransa at User:Cbroomhead/Sandbox, where you can continue to improve the article by placing references to reliable sources in the article. This is meant to be a temporary solution. Once the article establishes the notability of the subject, using sources that are independent of the subject, it can be moved back into article space. Nearly all of the article's references are currently sourced to the company's own website, and so at this time, the draft fails to establish the notability of the subject. Printed sources, such as books, would help establish this company's notability. Once the content is improved significantly, it may be suitable for inclusion on Wikipedia. Please drop me a note when you feel the article is ready for this step. Firsfron of Ronchester 05:39, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Intransa article page edit

Hello Firsfron, I finally got around adding some sources to this article...I added some sources that I found on the web that weren't post or linked to their official website. Please let me know what you think, and if the sources provided are sufficient enough to establish notability. Thanks Cbroomhead (talk) 18:33, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cbroomhead,
The article is looking much better; thank you for your efforts. The article may provide sufficient coverage to establish notability; however, there are still many formatting and other issues. Two edits to the page aren't really enough to "fix" this article. I've edited the article with examples of correct formatting. For example, it is not necessary to pipe links like this: [[Fortune 500|Fortune 500]], only links like this:[[Rho Ventures|Rho Capital Partners]]. Each article on Wikipedia should have a lead section which summarizes what the subject is: an article should never begin with a subheading.
References should, whenever possible, contain the name of the author, the year, and the publisher, in that order. If you follow the example formatting, readers will know who the author of the reference is, when the reference was published, who published the information, and will know where to click to get more information on Intransa.
You added four references from various web sites, and this is a good start, but ideally references should be from reliable sources. There is a large number of book references on Intransa that you are not using. Some of the better ones would help establish the notability of the subject. Hello, it's me again.
So I did a few modifications, including adding some of your suggestions.

I also was wondering about posting some pictures to the page. I was going to just google some images, and insert them in. Is that going to be problematic?

Thank you so much for helping me. Cbroomhead (talk) 21:58, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
No problem. About the images: You should read Wikipedia:Non-free content for a guide on image use. You may upload an image of the company's logo, provided that you provide a detailed fair-use rationale for its inclusion. You would want to do this only after the article has been moved back to article space. Firsfron of Ronchester 02:12, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
When can I move the article to the article page? and do you think its ready?

Also, I believe the article space has been blocked off, and the administrator has to unlock it. Cbroomhead (talk) 23:58, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cbroomhead,
The article is definitely not ready to be moved back into article space. Nearly all of the references are missing data like "publisher"; this data helps readers and editors determine that the information in the article is accurate and provided by a source which is independent of the subject. Not every source needs to be independent of the subject, but most should. I appreciate your work on the article, and with more work in the right areas, there's no reason it can't me moved back into article space. Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 00:08, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
