{{helpme}} I suggest that Wikipedia offer users/members a feature similar to Explorer's "Favorites"; users doing research on a particular subject--or on many subjects simultaneously--could bookmark articles under headings of their own choosing. It would help them research more quickly by having all the needed pages in one locale. Also, you might be able to color code the name of the pages to indicate that changes had been made since the user last used the page--that's handy. I don't know where else to make this suggestion. For example, I'd certainly like to list all pages dealing with the different variations of "Liberalism"--there must be ca. 15 of those. I'd also like to list all pages dealing with budgets, particularly for families and small businesses. The user could set the list to slough off pages automatically if they're not used by the member for a given period of time, e.g., 30 consecutive days. Aaron Burr Sr. edit

Please help me with...your article entitled "Aaron Burr Sr." No one is ever named "Sr." To caption a biographical article "Sr." to avoid confusion is a horrible mistake. It's like saying that the first president of the U. S. was named General George Washington. Neither "General" nor "Sr." is part of any individual's name and would never, ever appear on a birth certificate. The proper format to avoid confusing Aaron Burr the father with Aaron Burr the son is to refer to the former as Aaron Burr, père, and the latter as Aaron Burr, fils.

I imagine correcting all the many links to these two individuals, not to mention the numerous other individuals you've no doubt mislabeled will be a Herculean task, but, if you want to be accurate and if you want to avoid ridicule for sloppy labeling, you need to do what needs to be done.

Also, the directions for getting to, using, and signing off this page are abysmal. Thanks.

Isn't it amazing that I wait for ages for someone to complain about the signature function and then two do so within hours of each other. The reason Aaron Burr Sr. has his article there is because his son is the primary target for "Aaron Burr"; that is to say that more people search for Aaron Burr Jr. than they do his father. Ending the article with "Sr." is an appropriate disambiguator. I suspect "the numerous other individuals" you speak of are there under similar grounds. For such a mammoth procedural change, I suggest either filing a note on the administrators' noticeboard but as far as Burr is concerned, try moving it to Aaron Burr (1716-1757) and see what happens.--Launchballer 12:32, 29 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

German Technology (in English) edit

The last sentence of the first paragraph is "It compelled as best country in Science."

This makes no sense in English. Also, suspecting that the original was German, I researched the German verbs which might translate as "compel," but found none that might be suitable.

December 2019 edit

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at 2010s. RE: "2010 - 2019 is not a decade" edit

When you say the 20th century, you mean the years 1901-2000; the 1900s means the years 1900-1999. Therefore, the 2010s are 2010-2019, and the 202nd decade is 2011-2020. Now, Wikipedia has an article on every "0s" decade in the common era, but this creates a bit of a quagmire with the years 1-9, where the 0s covers a 9-year decade, even though that makes no sense.
