WIKIPEDIA ADMINS, contact Ney's lawyer in case of missinformation (information on discution page).

NOW mysterious CASTELMORE, stop missinformation, it worked in France for a time, NOT HERE, so get lost or you will see what will happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CastroSUX (talkcontribs) 21:30, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Leaving this kind of Hagiography on wiki is OMHO a way to lose the credibily of Wiki

I'll look into this further. Dreadstar 18:52, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jean-Paul Ney edit

I've decided to take a slightly different approach to this article than usual. The edit warring is not that severe and the article needs work. I don't think locking it down is the best approach. Instead I am going to institute a state of 1RR. Anything more than 1 revert by any user will result in a short block. Any type of threat, personal attack, or harassment will also result in a block. I have also blocked User:82.67.185.164 for the legal threat on the talk page. Anything disputed should be discussed on the talk page, but the dispute and a slow edit war should not stop needed improvement. I will copy this comment to user talk pages of those involved in the dispute and the article talk page, so there will be no "I didn't know" excuse for edit warring. Hi Z-man .. strange coincidence .. You blocked an IP very very similar to jean paul ney' ip on this french newsgroups. also with legal threats .... par Jean-Paul Ney (IP:xxx.x7.185.164) le 1er mai 2007 [1] surely a coincidence  ;-) Castelmore 10:28, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 22:45, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kitetoa crediblity edit

Well... revert if you feel if it is reliable... I am not French. Self published sources are allowed by the subject if published by the subject. - 6etonyourfeet (talk?) 18:41, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok , i'll "readd" sources from Kitetoa. and others reliable sources, Castelmore 10:22, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Apparently, according to your own statements and my brief look, Kitetoa is a self-published website and one not written by the subject of the article, so it appears to fail WP:V, as does your other source Zataz.com. I didn't see anything from Le Monde, if it was there it was down the translation chain a bit too far. Critial, potentially libelous material can only be added to an article if it is solidly sourced per WP:BLP, and doesn't violate WP:UNDUE. Dreadstar 21:17, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

What is your interest in, or relationship with Jean-Paul Ney? You seem to be rather focused on that one article, so I'm naturally curious. Thanks! Dreadstar 16:51, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your response, I appreciate your understanding in this matter. I'm curious, is there a Ney article on the French Language Wikipedia: [2]? I'm off to sleep, so I'll read more on your post to my talk page tomorrow. Dreadstar 07:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

yeap .. hum in fact not yet same problem on the French wiki with Mister Ney than here .. the article qualified as " Article about a journalist who had taken a lot of merits without being able to prove half, and that caused some conflict [...] do not wish the appearance of information about his legals and psychiatric problems " was delete and blocked after a vote... and not after a lawsuit as mister Ney said. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Pages_%C3%A0_supprimer/Jean-Paul_Ney

AfD nomination of Jean-Paul Ney edit

An editor has nominated Jean-Paul Ney, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jean-Paul Ney and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 01:59, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
