Hello comrade! edit

Hey! I saw your edit on Acid throwing (one of the far too many pages I have on my watchlist), and decided to check out your user page, 'cause it's not often that you encounter a fellow comrade ;)

It turns out we have a lot in common even outside of being commies – we're both kids (I'm 16 so I won't be a kid for too much longer, but still), and we both are mainly interested in vexillology, linguistics, and geopolitics. Additionally, I don't have DID or autism, but I do have ADHD, so unfortunately we share that too.

Also – and I really hope this doesn't sound condescending or anything – I just wanna point out how incredibly smart you are for your age! I didn't even know what vexillology meant (or that it existed) until less than a year ago, and I didn't figure out/decide I was a communist until a few months ago, lmaooo.

Anyyyywaaaays, I just thought it was really neat to see someone close(ish) to my age who has this stuff in common w/me, and I felt the need to say something. I know wikipedia obviously isn't a social media network or anything, so I'll try to keep this message relatively short and end it here, lol.

Peace out! :)

P.S. I'm super sorry if this message came off as intrusive or creepy!!! I know it can be weird to get a message from a stranger out of nowhere, especially at your age –'cause even though I may not be an adult yet, I am still 4-5 years older than you. Basically what I'm trying to say is that if I in any way made you uncomfortable, don't feel at all obligated to respond, because I completely understand.

Hello edit

Supprised to find a comrade who is both communist, autistic and interested in vexillology like myself, though our forms of autism might differ. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 20:46, 24 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Scimitar (disambiguation) edit

Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Scimitar (disambiguation). However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

Thank you. Leschnei (talk) 15:06, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Canadian Communist, the above is the canned comment on DAB guidelines. I just wanted to remind you that the guidelines are intended to keep things simple and uncluttered, to help readers scan the page for what they want - so, only one blue link per entry and, usually, piping only for formatting (like book titles). Have fun editing. Leschnei (talk) 15:10, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

January 2019 edit
