This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Proposed deletion of Why? (1971 film) edit

The article Why? (1971 film) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - Vivvt (Talk) 20:55, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Click on the word "Simpson's" and you will get a link to movies he has been in and He was not a murderer. Camnewton2 (talk) 21:02, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

That proposed deletion came from a different editor, but I am inclined to agree.
  1. You got the year wrong. According to IMDb, the film was released in 1973, not 1971.
  2. You claim the films is the first film role for both O. J. Simpson and Tim Buckley, to which I'd have to say "so what?" Simson had already appeared in several television episodes, and his film career after Why? was much more significant than this little piece of work; and the film was not Buckley's first film role, it was his last, as he is not known as an actor but as a musician.
  3. You did not provide any reliable sources, as I had cautioned you to.
The article will hang around for a week or so until the proposed deletion expires and an admin actually deletes it. Until then, you are free to address these concerns. (And your opinions on the outcome of Simpson's murder trial are irrelevant to this discussion.) WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:06, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well,Sorry about the year for one,Nobody cares about Buckley,Everyone should love O.J.,And Why only a week,And the murder trial is indeed irrelevant,But it is not what you call an "Opinion".!!!

To answer the one relevant point: "Why only a week?" -- because that is the way WP:Proposed deletion works. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:12, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Repost of Monster of Monterey edit

A tag has been placed on Monster of Monterey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you.
