Amory Lovins edit

Hi -- my attention was directed here by a message from Amory Lovins at the Computing Reference Desk. Your edits are being reverted because they read like PR rather than like a neutral description of facts. Wikipedia articles are intended as encyclopedia articles, not as press releases. We'll be happy to discuss the problem if you ask for information at the article's talk page, Talk:Amory Lovins. You won't accomplish anything by simply continuing to revert, though. Looie496, Is this where I leave you a message? (I'm not very familiar with wikipedia editing...or really anything about wikipedia.) I understand what you're saying about the copy Amory gave me. I'd like to at least update the page. I tried to add some of some of Amory's newer books, which aren't listed, which was not like PR copy at all. Just a list. Why was that deleted? Anyway, I look forward to working with you to make changes. Can you correspond with me in email? (It's camburns [at] rof.net). Thanks for keeping wikipedia good! Best, Cam

Yes, when I left my message here I added this page to my "watchlist", so I am given notice whenever this page is changed. I am not sure why the book additions were reverted. My suggestion is to add a new section to the talk page for the article, Talk:Amory Lovins, saying that you believe information XYZ should be added to the article, and asking if there are any objections. Any time there is a problem with an edit, the most useful approach is to discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 00:35, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
