  • "Dear Mark, I am kdbuffalo. I was getting a little hassled by some Wikipedia members who I wish not to discuss. Nothing major and we are on pretty good terms considering they are atheists and oppose what I compose. I just found I had less problems going anonymous. Please do not mention this to anyone else."[24]

I can, but choose not, as an administrator, to unprotect the article that you requested. It is subject to trolling and vandalism. The current consensus to to prevent further attacks. You may not edit it. Sorry. Bearian (talk) 19:00, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
From the policy:

Full protection - Temporary full protection may be used for: Pages experiencing edit warring as the result of a dispute; see Content disputes below. "History-only" review of pages during deletion review discussions. The talk page of a blocked user – the only page that they may edit – in the event of persistent inappropriate editing. If such a block is indefinite in duration, then the full protection may also be. Administrators should not make significant changes to fully protected pages without prior discussion.

This article has a sad, long history of edit warring and vandalism. People have started trouble. I don't want to get into appeals and discussions on this topic any more. Bearian (talk) 19:07, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

If I cut out an entire section of Lyndon LaRouche, that would be forbidden. I just excised the truly unverifiable parts. The other factoids can be sourced sooner or later. Bearian (talk) 19:10, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
This has been noted at Talk:Lyndon_LaRouche#Trivia. Bearian (talk) 19:18, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: Wikipedia:PROTECT#Content_disputes edit

Hi! When the dispute in question is resolved, ask any uninvolved administrator to unprotect it, preferably via a request at WP:RFPP. If you get something along the lines of "ask east718 first" or "I don't wheel war", just point them towards this statement. east.718 at 20:44, January 31, 2008

Okay, I just requested information on the appropriate talk page on the content dispute. Hopefully it is resolved, and if not, I will try to help get it resolved. Thanks for the clarification. CM (talk) 21:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I was just about to suggest the same link, WP:RFPP. Bearian (talk) 21:51, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, the link is good. CM (talk) 00:14, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
