Copyright violation from one of your students edit

@CWIdaho92: and Ian (Wiki Ed): FYI, I found that one of your course students, Shreejmv, edited Journal of the American Statistical Association by replacing its first paragraph with text copied from http://www.amstat.org/ASA/About/History.aspx, also adding some later text from http://www.amstat.org/asa/files/pdfs/ABT-StrategicPlan.pdf. I'm guessing you've already done this, but just in case, you might want to make sure your students know that copying from other web sites into Wikipedia in this way is not acceptable. Their contributions need to be in their own words. Anyway, I've reverted the change and hidden the copyright violation from the edit history. —David Eppstein (talk) 04:50, 10 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
