Note that in your article Confederacy's European Brigade the strange formatting you would have observed when you created the article was due to the indentation of the paragraphs. Wikipedia does not use indentation normally, but instead uses it for other things (raw formatting). jorgenev 01:24, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hi again. I have made a few minor formatting changes to the pages you have been working on (wiki formatting can be somewhat confusing), see them here: [1][2] jorgenev 01:28, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the trophy! I only mind Extension:WikiLove in principle, in practice it does not bother me much. I recommend Wikipedia:Cheatsheet as the simplest and clearest introduction to Wiki formatting, jorgenev 03:34, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Done. See [3] jorgenev 19:29, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey, its me again. Another editor (NawlinWiki (talk · contribs)) expressed concerns about the title of your serial killer article, which was reasonable so I have moved the article to Warren Harris as the subjects name would be the best title for an encyclopedia article. Do you agree? Black Gay Teen-Aged Serial Killer has been left as a redirect. jorgenev 19:29, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

title change edit

  assistance
Hello..thanks for the message. the reason I chose the original title was, like many people, I use Google Search or other search engines to find what I am interested in. So if Wikipedia is listed among the search results, along with other websites about the same subject, the person has a couple of sites they can read about the subject they are interested in. While I understand the thinking of using " Warren Harris " for Wiki listing purposes, the average person probably would not use an unfamiliar term like " Warren Harris" on Google Search but if they are interested in the material I am writing about , they would use something like " Black Serial Killer " etc. for their search. I defer to your experience on what to do , but perhaps an alternative title like " Warren Harris, Black Gay Teen-Aged Serial Killer " would satisfy Wiki's format and also make the article accessible in Google Search for those who use just " black serial killers" for example. Again I am agreeable to whatever you determine is best and appreciate your interest. I added some informational re-writing to my article as well as notes by numbers , links, etc if you want to re-read it. Feel free to edit into Wiki format whatever you see that needs it if you want to. Also many thanks for entering the reference link to the newspaper article in the Bend Bulletin . It is among the newspaper coverage collection sent me in PDF from New Orleans . I was happy to see your help with it. ByronLeNaj 20:17, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

August 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Warren Harris do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This is the edit. How does this have anything to do with the subject?? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Warren_Harris&diff=446865855&oldid=446544952 OlYellerTalktome 23:50, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Closing remarks, et. al. edit

Hello again ByronLeNaj,

I am sorry to hear you have decided to leave the project. I know it can be frustrating. Know that this is something that we are actively trying to address, both here on the English Wikipedia with a program headquartered at Wikipedia:Wiki Guides to to look into new user development (if you would like they have a page for sharing user experiences), and at the meta-wiki level by the Wikimedia Foundation.

I did find some of the wording used by some of the others users to be unwarranted and have actually had problems with one of them in the past. I will say in their defense though that policing Wikipedia is an impossible task and corners that shouldn't have to but cut sometimes must.

About your request to have your articles deleted. I was wondering if we might be able to keep the Warren Harris article? I think I could complete it myself without much difficulty. I wouldn't have the time to complete the Confederacy's European Brigade so I have requested speedy deletion on it as you wished.

If you ever want to come back, know that you will be welcomed! Also, should you wish to have the content of your article(s) provided to you at any time they can be undeleted temporarily. jorgenev 03:11, 28 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm also sorry to hear that you've decided to leave. I was looking forward to reading what you had to write about the European Brigade. Good luck in whichever endeavors you choose to pursue. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 06:14, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
