Conflict of interest edit

Per this link, Burna Boy is your client. Some of the clients you serve have Wikipedia pages; Per our WP:COI policy, you guys cannot edit their pages directly. You can only suggest changes on each article's talk page. You guys had a representative here before who was in compliance with our policies and guidelines; the person simply stopped editing several months ago.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 10:13, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Bukihqmedia. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 10:14, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Relationship - I am his PR Manager and have worked with him for 6 years. 1. Name of Record Label - On a SpaceShip not Spaceship. So I corrected that and linked to his website.

2. He has released 7 singles from the African Giant Album not 6.

3. He was nominated for 3 Brit Awards and not 2 - I cited this. Bukihqmedia (talk) 03:51, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please request changes at Talk:Burna Boy next time. I am going to address your concerns here. (1) You say Burna Boy's record label is "On a Spaceship" and not "Spaceship". However, sources available online doesn't support your statement. Sources here, here and here all state Spaceship Entertainment. On a Spacehsip is the name of Burna Boy's second studio album and his website. Let me also add that Spaceship Entertainment is shortened to Spaceship because per Template:Infobox musical artist, we are require to pipe out "Records", "Entertainment", "Music" or similar words from the end of a label's name. (2) You need to provide a reliable source to support the album's seventh single. Which of the album's songs is the seventh single? (3) You need to provide a source to support his 3 noms at the Birt Awards. If you're counting his feature with Dave on "Location" as a nomination, then that would mean he received 2 noms. Where is the third nomination coming from?  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 16:01, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

3. Not even sure why my message read 3 nominations sorry about that it was meant to be 2 nominations. Yes the second is Location with Dave. Bukihqmedia (talk) 04:41, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

February 2020 edit

  Hello, I'm Versace1608. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Burna Boy, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 10:15, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
