You're doing shit edit

You're letting wikipedia down. Fix up your game —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Whitemooooorn (talkcontribs) 15:47, 9 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

  • Concidering your account was blocked since you are a vandal and have no real interest in wikipedia, I find your comments very laughable. ---Brian (How am I doing?) 21:42, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Brain Trauma Issue (Don't worry this is a nice letter) edit

(This is in relation to Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Brain_Trauma)

Brian, I hope you have a wonderful Holiday. Forgive me for my rant earlier,I think that maybe the guidlines were misunderstood to a point. One newspaper article that I did read about Brain Trauma was an interview, which if I understand would not qualify. I will admit I had to read the guidlines from begining to end a couple of times to get a full understanding. I even missed the:

except for the following: Media reprints of press releases, other publications where the musician/ensemble talks about themselves, and advertising for the musician/ensemble.

Perhaps if it was highlithed it would not be missed. I do have to say that you made things easier to understand, I had no idea that Freedom of Speech does not apply to the internet. Also you're comments are nicer and more informative then some of the others.

Michelle, Thank you for the wonderful post. I never hold rants against people at all. We are all have passions and defending them from attacks (preceived or real) is natural. Now the comment about the BT article being an interview is something I certainly believe should be qualified as a source to be used, and I am working at having it changed so newspaper and magazine interviews can be allowed as sources.
To be honest, I like to help people understand my thoughts on an AFD by providing the exact parts from the guidelines and rules I am using to support my position. That way they are able to rebutt my comments. I also again understood why you were upset, as I have had my own articles set for AFD, and been in your shoes. I know how it feels. Now if I were you, my thoughts would to take their article, copy it and paste it to my own sandbox in my userspace then edit it privately there until they would pass WP:MUSIC then repost it to the main space. I've done this as well :)
Have a wonderful and safe holiday!

"POV crap" at The Hangovers edit

What, precisely, do you see as "POV crap" at The Hangovers article? JDoorjam Talk 23:37, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I really couldn't discribe it all as it would overwhelm my talk page--Brian(view my history)/(How am I doing?) 18:50, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Coka nostra edit

Hi there! I could do that, but I thought it'd be more helpful if I explained it to you so you could do it yourself in the future. It's really easy. You edit the page, remove all of the text and replace it with

#redirect [[House of Pain]]

Then hit save; that's it. For more background information, see WP:MERGE. >Radiant< 08:56, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

MatthewUND's RfA edit

I just self-nominated myself for administrator's status on Wikipedia. As an active member of WikiProject North Dakota, I feel that having admin status would allow me the ability to be more useful to the project and to curtail vandalism and other problems. An admin is able to protect pages that are being bombarded with vandalism and to more quickly revert pages that have been vandalized. I've always hoped that we could get an admin to join the WikiProject so we would have someone to turn to in times of need. Since we still don't have an active admin within the project's membership, I decided to nominate myself. I really hope you will visit my request for adminship and support me. Thanks! --MatthewUND(talk) 10:51, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

MatthewUND's RfA Pt.2 edit

I'm not about to continue this on Matthew's RfA page. Your mistaken with regards to my RfA, firstly, I withdrew with sizeable support, but more importantly and secondly, I didn't go canvassing for votes, just like 99% of other RfA candidates, successful or otherwise. I've got people offering to nominate me left, right and center, I've got people shouting at me for withdrawing and they're all people who didn't vote on my previous RfA. I could have quite easily canvassed for their votes and I could have quite easily passed my RfA, but I didn't and for that reason and that reason alone, I'm not prepared to Support someone who thinks they can go canvass for votes. I'm really not sure what AfD has to do with all of this either, I'm assuming your pretty pissed that the YouTube article got pulled and you don't really like my stance on YouTube links. It is, of course, irrelevant to Matthew's RfA. If he can't get enough support fairly, he simply doesn't deserve to be an admin. --Kind Regards - Heligoland | Talk | Contribs 16:28, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • You can assume what you wish but you would be wrong. I gave up on the YouTube article long ago before it got pulled. In fact I supported pulling it. Sounds like sour grapes to me personally or you wouldn't have pulled your RfA, however This project needs a person with a strong track record. Matt is just the person for it. You can shut down his RFA with an oppose but then when he is renominated, he won't have to get the word out...I'll do that, along with some of the others that were notified. You are not admin material, nor do you have the track record or experiance. Matt does and it seems you are jealous of that. --Brian(view my history)/(How am I doing?) 16:39, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'd add WP:RFA to your watchlist if I were you. Bye for now. --Kind Regards - Heligoland | Talk | Contribs 16:48, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I noticed thisYou are not admin material, nor do you have the track record or experiance. Matt does and it seems you are jealous of that. Firstly, I would advise you to assume good faith with regards to the way I !vote on Wikipedia, it's surely not too much to ask. I've also rustled up a graph showing my voting patterns before and after my own RfA. Image:Heligoland_RfA_Voting.png has all you need to know. --Kind Regards - Heligoland | Talk | Contribs 18:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Concidering the time I've already wasted with disputing you in this, I'll say "I think it's great you would take the time to create a graph but unfourtunately, it's going to be left unviewable by me". I also do not assume good faith after your RFA failed..sorry --Brian(view my history)/(How am I doing?) 18:17, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Research done after I saw his comments on this RFA. Had no idea the guy even was a living being before today so I don't see how that is stalking. Cheers --Brian(view my history)/(How am I doing?) 21:26, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
