OVW Womens Championship History: November 1st 2014 - Today edit

Apologies in advance if I have address this wrong, however I am not familiar with the Wiki set-up and needed to find someway in which to contact you regard errors that I see regarding the OVW Womens Championship History page.

(I was the recent user editing the OVW Womens Championship history, just under another name)

I am not doing this out of negativity or anything, I am merely editing facts that have been presented to the world via the OVW website as it shows on the championship history sections that the championship was vacated from then champion, Lei'D Tapa on November 1, 2014 and has since yet to been won by a new woman, since the womens division at the time was discontinued. There is talk of it being brought back up however as proven by a rare womens match a few weeks ago on OVW Television.

Hopefully I have cleared up this fact with you, and my honest apologies for seeming rude in anyway, I just want the page that I have edited to proved up-to-date information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RhawkOnline (talkcontribs) 03:16, 18 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your revert edit

Hello Browndog91, can you please explain your revert here? I suspect that ovwmania.blogspot.com is not an official blog of the Ohio Valley Wrestling. Thank you GSS (talk|c|em) 10:19, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

OVW recognizes OVWmania as its official results site and since it is the only site for OVW results their is no alternative for references.
Can you please provide a source to support your claim that It has been endorsed by OVW in the past and it is the only site that gives OVW results just trust me on this one. as I can't see anything about this blog on their offcial website so far. GSS (talk|c|em) 10:33, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
No source needed you just got to go with the flow don't take everything so seriously OVWmania gives results it doesn't have to be officially recognized it does the job of giving results that is good enough for me. Just trust me that it is I know it is but can't find a source.
Anyways I just asked for it at WP:PW/Sources. You can view the discussion here. GSS (talk|c|em) 10:56, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
It is on you, Browndog, to prove that it is the official results archive for OVW. You need to read Wikipedia:Blogs as sources and be careful when privately published blogs are used as sources. Until such time you can prove it is the official results archive, they are going to be removed. If you revert, disciplinary action could be taken. Don't get into a revert war. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 18:32, 12 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Name one other site that gives OVW results? You want me to start using cagematch instead? There is no alternative for results if you remove all of references the articles look bare. talk
Browndog91 I don't understand if no one care to write about those results why we do? and if there is no alternative for results how this author gets all the information? this simply looks like a case of original research and WP:BURDEN which says Any material lacking a reliable source directly supporting it may be removed and should not be restored without an inline citation to a reliable source, so you either have to prove the reliability of this blog (ovwmania.blogspot.com) or remove all those links. GSS (talk|c|em) 04:30, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
So I have messaged them directly on Facebook and they have said this "Unofficial since it's a fan made blog but considering he has covered it so long it might as well be the "official" source" to me that says that OVW recognizes OVWmania in some way so I don't think we can exclusively say that it isn't official because there is some form of awareness there.
This is again WP:OR and as per your comment above they have said this Unofficial since it's a fan made blog I'm removing this soruce from all OVW related articles per WP:LINKSTOAVOID so please do not reinstate. Thank you GSS (talk|c|em) 06:30, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
they went on to say that they are considering making it official so for now here is what should happen, we put in ovwmania as a reference but then delete directly after that way if it later becomes official it is easier to put all the references back in, plus you missed the bit where they said it might as well be the official site. I think you are trying to get rid of the links instead of trying to make the links more credible which is the wrong way to go about things, it shouldn't be up to me to prove that something is credible it should be up to every editor to try and get more credible sites to put on Wikipedia.
You must read what Wikipedia is not especially WP:NOTCRYSTALBALL. There is no need to keep those links we can add in the future when/if it become official. GSS (talk|c|em) 08:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yeah but you still are avoiding the real problem which is going against me rather than working with me. At no point have you said anything like "I would like this to be a reference let me help you make it credible" or anything like that and I have always been the glass half full person who will look at things and try to make them better rather than shut down every idea good or bad.
Don't start the "poor-poor me" crap. It's on you to prove it is the official results archive. It's not on us to help you make it credible. The only way it will be used is if you can prove what you have not proved yet. If won't do it, than it's done and over with. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 05:39, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm STATicVapor. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Revolution Pro Wrestling. Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! CZW edit

Hello. Are you sure? I mean, I don't follow CZW, but in their official website, those title changes happened and they recognized them. [1] Any case, I think the reigns should be added as official or unofficial, since the title changes happened. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 10:47, 13 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes I messaged the official facebook page and that is what they told me also their is a results site that mentions it but if you want to mess around with how it is now go for it all I know is what they told me which Joeys reign nevers happens and MJF is a 1 time champ. Browndog91 12:26, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[[Browndog91}}Browndog91 12:26, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
I think it should be changed. The oficial website includes both title changes. The "undefeated" thing is storyline, not real. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:42, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
In fact, this is very strange. I checked other sources. CZW says Janela is a 4 times, champion, MJF is a 2 times champion and Lio Rush is a 2 times champion. Solies says Janela is a 3 times champ, MJF is a 2 times and Lio Rush is a 1 time champs (Solies doesn't include the title change between Janela and Rush). Also, Solies includes Rey Fenix as former champion. Wrestlig Titles says Janela is a 3 times, MJF is a 2 times and Rush is 1 time. So, any idea? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:47, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
I literally have zero idea where to begin the title history is so unclear that I don't think we will get a consensus on it but as far as the storyline aspect of it, if we look at the WWE title history we have Ted Dibiase in the article as an unofficial champion so I would think the same sort of thing would apply here although how to present it is another issue. I will look into the Fenix match and get back to you. 04:36, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Browndog91
Here are the results for the event Solies has Rey Fenix winning the CZW wired title at http://www.pwponderings.com/2017/08/05/pro-wrestling-revolver-rockstar-pro-080417-catalina-wrestling-mixer-results/ Browndog91 04:42, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
