Welcome! edit

Hello, Brooke11095, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Problematic edits edit

Your additions to the Nimbus Fish Hatchery article include passages copied verbatim or nearly verbatim from this source. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. For copyright reasons, your contribution had to be deleted.

Please make sure that you use your own words when contributing to Wikipedia (and when writing in general). Merely changing a few words in a sentence does not solve the problem - close paraphrasing may remain a problem so long as the structure of the sentence is preserved. Please review the student training on plagiarism and copyright violations. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:46, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
