In response to your feedback edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your feedback. You are right that Wikipedia does not routinely use HTML for editing. Wikipedia has markup which is more easy for many people to use and learn. A quick reference sheet has a table of the most frequently used markup. The links at the bottom of the page will explain more. I hope this helps.

Speedy deletion nomination of Amrit Manthan edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Amrit Manthan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ∫eb²+1(talk) 19:23, 10 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re:Roadies page edit

I feel the current table looks more clear in terms of the names of the roadies and the count from each city. The earlier table looked damn confusing where a name of a roadie was hard to figure out in case the roadie was a single selection from a city. Pls dont change it back or we'll have to start a discussion on talk page to rather discuss it before getting into edit warring. -Msrag (talk) 10:54, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Go ahead. Though I still feel the table is not very clear in terms of reading, its not really that imp for me. Good Luck -Msrag (talk) 05:17, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Belated welcome to Wikipedia, Brijesh edit

Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

Hello, Brijeshsachde, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

How to sign off your posts edit

  Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. AshLin (talk) 05:55, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Preference for proper Language in messages edit

The culture in Wikipedia is in favour of proper language and talk for messages on user talk and article discussion pages. Poor English and use of "popular" language a la Twiter and Facebook is not conducive for understanding each other. AshLin (talk) 05:55, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
