Welcome!

Hello Bobo Bonnie, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our Introduction contains a lot of helpful material for new users - please check it out!

Each time I make a link, the | shows, or the | goes with the link. For emample, when I put: [[article name'''|'''text]], | shows.

You should be doing [[article|text]] such as Wikipedia is here.

That is what I was doing. Anyway, someone told me to leave a space.

A friendly suggestion edit

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

It may seem bothersome at first, but it's worth a try. Xiner (talk, email) 01:59, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

OOOps edit

Ooops Sorry, I keep putting messages on User Pages. ~BoboBonnie~

Editing with the same IP address edit

Hi there. Two people editing with the same IP address, even on the same computer, is very common. Lots of people on Wikipedia have the same IP addresses, and this shouldn't be a problem. Thank you for spreading the word about Wikipedia! :) Bobo. 20:10, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

AskAceata edit

The article AskAceata has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 20:58, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

As stated above: the article did not assert that the website was notable -- i.e., referred to by independent reliable sources. It makes no difference if I visit the website and think it's wonderful. It's the author's job to provide sources showing the subject's notability. NawlinWiki 21:45, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

<<AskAecata isn't very popular>>. If and when it becomes popular, then you can post an article about it. Thanks, NawlinWiki 22:06, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
