* Bobby Tango Gibb edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of * Bobby Tango Gibb, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Bobby tango gibb. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 09:15, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Bobby tango gibb edit

The article Bobby tango gibb has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ∫eb²+1(talk) 10:00, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

July 2012 edit

  Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Your recent edits edit

  Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:21, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bobby, I've seen your message, but I'm a bit pushed for time at the moment, so I'll reply tomorrow. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 18:15, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi again, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I deleted your article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references. As a matter of policy, all biographies of living people will be deleted if they do not have references. None of the groups or people you listed were linked to existing Wikipedia article, which suggests that they are not notable enough for a Wikipedia article. This may be a oversight on your part, since Pittsburgh and Los Angeles were also unlinked, and they do have articles.

The problem with writing an autobiography was highlighted above, it's not enough to say "It's me, so it must be true and notable", you need to show the rest of us. If you are genuinely notable, it should be easy to find proper references as defined in link in the previous paragraph, Refs should not be self-created like Facebook, blogs or websites of dubious reliability. If you recreate, remember that you must write in a neutral and encyclopaedic tone. In view of your obvious conflict of interest, you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:42, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
