I'm not sure exactly how I want to contribute and am currently using my user page to collect links to articles that interest me and I may want to augment in the future. Is this an acceptable use of my user page or do I need to keep this information elsewhere? Thanks!

That would be a fine use of your userpage. What we often get is people mistaking Wikpedia for a social networking site and making a fake article on themselves there, or misusing Wikipedia as a webhost by collecting material unrelated to Wikipedia there, or writing an article there instead of in a sandbox and a hoist of other misuses. Anyway, organizing your prospective activities, keeping track of what you have or will work on is exactly what your userpage is for. Responding to your message

I looked at the talk page on the article. "The page I'm looking to build is intended to augment the 10K-A-Day (Health Enhancement Systems) program." not sure what you mean exactly but it doesn't sound like an encyclopedic article. It would actually probably be deleted as original research WP:OR. The main concern with the CSD (speedy delete) is that there already is an article about the Cambrian Way Trail so any additional verifiable WP:V information you might want to add would go into that article. I'd recommend reading some of the pages in the welcome message I posted above.--Savonneux (talk) 03:30, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

No worries it's deleted. If you ever want to delete a userpage you made accidentally just blank it and put {{Db-u1}} on it. Pages in article space pop up on a log and people check them (that's how I found yours).--Savonneux (talk) 04:20, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
