I had a source but I have lost it, I'm sorry, my mistake. But as you can see, coat of arms of Shipton Gorge is same like one of coats of arms of family Gorges and this is also verified by fact that land in west Dorset got Radulph de Gorges. I'm confident that "de Gorge" is just mutation of name "de Gorges". The main part of family went after in country of Wilthshire ( like Wraxall Somerset) which is very near and next to Dorset. It is certainly same family.
