Neutral point of view edit

Hello Bill, Wikipedia has a neutral point of view policy which means that the articles should be written without bias. Part of the policy includes the undue weight component which states that minority views should not be given as much precedence as majority views. Wikipedia is not a Baha'i encyclopedia, and thus has to be written in such a way that Baha'u'llah's claims are not seen as fact. This is, for example, similar to some problems on Islamic pages where some editors write out Prophet Muhammad (with a capital P), but that implies that Muhammad is a Prophet, which is not accepted by all, and thus the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Islam-related articles) states that instead it should be written as Islamic prophet Muhammad (note the adjective and the small p). Thus similarly Baha'u'llah's stations cannot be stated as fact, because most people don't accept it, and thus it is either his claimed station or perceived station. Sorry that doesn't work out. While better, it can still leave doubt to a reader, and people might come and tag the whole page with a {{NPOV}} tag which makes the whole article look bad. Better to be safe than sorry. Jeff3000 03:47, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
