February 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page RGB color model do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dicklyon (talk) 16:15, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Stagecraft. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Old Moonraker (talk) 16:32, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I hope I am not guilty of biting newcomers here. Both of the above comments were generated by a semi-automated script (the "TW" in the edit summaries stands for Twinkle) and unfortunately this can, in my case, result in semi-automated editing! I should sometimes pay more attention to what I'm doing. Don't be put off: stick with it! --Old Moonraker (talk) 16:58, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Rock-paper-scissors. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You should not add links to your own sites. If you have material that you think is appropriate per WP:EL, propose it on the talk page, to avoid WP:COI problems. And when you respond here, appends four tildes (~~~~ at the end and it will auto-expand into a timestamped signature. Dicklyon (talk) 17:10, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bilderbikkel: I get the point, I added both links before your first reply. Bilderbikkel (talk) 17:31, 26 February 2009 (UTC).Reply
