June 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Milena Roucka, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please provide a reliable source for all theme names you wish to add. Thanks,NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:59, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted you again, because a link to the homepage of a random website that doesn't say that she used those tracks is not acceptable as a source for the theme music. The source must say that Milena Roucka (under whatever ring name) used _____ as her entrance music, and you must link directly to that page, not the homepage of "extrememsuic.com", which doesn't contain the information you are trying to reference. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 05:26, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
First, please sign your comments on talk pages, all you have to do is type ~~~~, and it will be automatically converted into your signature.
Secondly, that cannot be used as a source. You must provide a link to the exact page where the information is contained for it to be used as a source. Having to click on 4/5 links from the original link that you provide, and then having to compare to a youtube reference is not an acceptable source. Youtube cannot be used as the source either as it illegally hosts copyrighted material. I have no intention of starting an edit war with you over this, although I notice you have reverted me again, and I intend to revert that edit, but that shall be my last edit on this. I would suggest that you be carefull of the 3 revert rule, however.
I have no problem with the format of the reference used, I was actually quite impressed that a new editor was able to reference that well, it is the content of the reference I have a problem with. I had not noticed that with the Jeff Hardy reference, but it will have to be replaced.
Might I suggest that perhaps a wider community input would be useful on this issue, because it seems to be quite clear that we both believe that we are in the right here. WT:PW is the talk page of the professional wrestling wikiproject, and perhaps if we bring it up there they can help to gain a consensus on this, as an edit war is the last thing we want. Does that sound acceptable to you? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:09, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
I have now brought the matter up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling#Reference dispute, so feel free to add your comments and opinions there. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:17, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
