No, that's fine. I just thought someone tagged it for deletion without discussion.

(+94) etc. edit

Hi, Besseme.

This is just an assumption of mine, but it has been examined through careful counting!

The numbers in the brackets are representational of the characters changed. For example, if you were to delete a word word that had been added twice (as I need to here), then it would say (-5) (for four letters and a space). If I were to add word (as I need to here), then it would say (+2), for the letter "a" and a space. (0) means nothing has been changed.

The colours (red, green and grey) are representational of the way the article has been changed. Red for deleted characters, Green for addition and Grey for no change.

Hope I could help, although I am not certain about this it does seem like the best solution.

Happy editing, THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR (((¶))) 10:50, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Replying- I found this on the help page- the numbers mean the amount of bytes added or removed from the page. For more information see What do the numbers mean? Cheers- CattleGirl talk | sign! 13:10, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
