Speedy deletion of "Mikey Butders" edit

A page you created, Mikey Butders, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Sex symbol edit

Please do not add duplicate entries to the list. Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez are already included in the 2000's section, so no need to add them into 2010's section. Snuggums (talk / edits) 18:57, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

July 2016 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 00:51, 10 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

SurveyMonkey polls edit

Please read Talk:Statewide opinion polling for the United States presidential election, 2016#New poll dump we have decided not to include these polls. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:01, 7 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Morning Consult were also decided to not be included, pretty much anything that has been done on all 50 states. The reasoning behind this is that we don't have a count on how many were polled for x poll nor do we have a margin of error. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:01, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions alert edit

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Please note that United States presidential election, 2020 (and many other articles in the topic area) are under various page restrictions, including 1RR/consensus required. Check the talk page on any article to determine what, if any, restrictions are in effect on the page. In regard to this edit, other similar polling tables have used the "Other" column to refer to specific candidates who do not have columns of their own. See, for example, Nationwide opinion polling for the Democratic Party 2016 presidential primaries#Polls conducted in 2014. In fact, I think we should use the "Other" column more, to avoid having to dedicate columns to candidates who have been listed in only one or two polls. In any event, the other candidates who don't currently have columns including John Kenny, Beto O'Rourke, and others garnered a total of 12% in the poll, so that does imply that the collective "Other" should be listed with more than 2%. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:01, 15 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

American Politics editing edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
