Netto edit

Yeah, that sounds okay. -Sukecchi 14:45, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Who are you? edit

You seem to be quite knowlagable of our loveable EXE Universe...might I ask who you are? Like...are you from any communities or anything?Sukecchi 21:17, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not in any communities. Just a fan that follows the details of the series to the bare bone. Have watched most episodes, with about 2 years experience in Japanese (though I'm not fluent, it's enough that I can understand what people are saying, and translate to a certain extent). - Benten

MegaMan NT Warrior edit

I noticed that you changed Net Hikari to Netto Hikari and Mail Sakurai to Meiru Sakurai. This is not correct.

See: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/rockmanexe_axess/character/chara01.html and http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/rockmanexe_axess/character/chara03.html.

WhisperToMe 20:46, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not you again...Look, Netto is just as correct as Net, leave it alone. >_>Sukecchi 21:13, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
don't CARE anymore, just mention the AXESS character pages and the "Net" and "Mail" Romanizations at the very least.—ウルタプ 21:07, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Very well. I will.

Net Hikari's name edit

":::::Edit: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/rockman_beast/; On the character pg, again Netto's name is written in Hiragana. - Benten"

That's furigana. It's meant to show how the name is pronounced. That's a given for all names in Kanji (including Light Yagami of Death Note, since his name is written in kanji) WhisperToMe 04:26, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Netto" is technically "Engrish" while "Net" (And I'm meaning the guy's name) is English. If the intended name is Net, the only way the Japanese can write his name is "Ne-tto".

"In the Japanese version, Netto's name is a pun on the word "net." Official sources [1] have sometimes referred to him as "Net," though the pun is more evident due to the phonetics of his name when written in Kanji and Hiragana, as well as nuances in pronunciation by the seiyū involved."

I'm changing this to "Official Japanese sources state his name in roman characters as "Net Hikari"" - remember that "Net" and "Netto", whichever one is the intended name, would be pronounced the same. WhisperToMe 04:28, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"(cur) (last) 13:11, 29 June 2006 Benten (Talk | contribs | block) m (Give it a rest already. Everybody but u has already agreed to this resolution.)"

1. Do not use "u" in place of "you" on Wikipedia.

2. "Urutapu" now sides with me.

If you cannot come up with another convincing argument, this has been settled. WhisperToMe 22:04, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I will be gone for one week after next Saturday. When I return, I want to know if you really care about this anymore. If not, I'll be happy to revert. If so, the debate shall continue. WhisperToMe 05:54, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX minor characters edit

Hi there! I apologise in advance for being the bearer of bad news. I've nominated an article you have created for deletion, specifically the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX minor characters. I wanted to let you know, so you can weigh in on the discussion here and also so you can save this list to your computer in case it does get deleted, as I can tell you've put some considerable effort into compiling this list. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 18:05, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

!!! A MMBN fan! edit

I just noticed that you're another MegaMan NT/BN fan. Can you help me out with MegaMan Battle Network 5? In particular, I'm looking for print references on its critical reception or any references on its creation, and I'm coming up with almost nothing. I could really use some help. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 08:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I would love to help, but I don't believe I know of any print reference for its critical reception (since I only play the Japanese games), and anything that I do have regarding its creation is just drawings/schematics of the characters, places, etc. from several guidebooks that I own (which I assume is not what your looking for anyways). If you do need to find these images, however, the official Japanese sites for most of the games do have some of them on display. --Benten 23:17, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't suppose you can scrounge up Japanese reviews of it, at least? I know it got lukewarm reviews in English, but the series is usually better-recieved in Japan.

By the way, regarding MMBN/NT images, the sources you gave don't suffice. For source, we need both original publishing and where it was posted online. www.exehq.com isn't any better for www.atomic-fire.com for all of the character art; they obviously didn't originally publish these images, so we need to know who did and where. Likewise for the screencaps; it's all well and good that they can be found on this site or that site, but we need to know what episodes they're from.

Additionally, a number of these images do need to go. The galleries in Cross Fusion and Soul Unison and such need to be reduced to a representative example, with the rest of the described fusions described in prose. This is per WP:FUC; we need to keep use of fair-use images to a minimum. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 00:35, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Oh, okay I see then how there should be a minimum. Although I can't provide a good enough source on the net, the official art for most of the other images come from Japanese guidebooks, though that may mean next to nothing in this case. --Benten 03:46, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hrm. If you could peg it to a specific book, it wouldn't need to be a wikilink. Otherwise, I don't think we can use them. :/

Oh! That reminds me. The screenshots can be saved; they just need episode numbers or names rather than just the series. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 04:10, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • As far as I can remember, the images correspond to the book of the game in which the character in question first appears (the pic of Regal would be in the BN4 guide for example). The img of the main characters in the List of MegaMan Battle Network characters can be found in multiple books, Secret of Rockman EXE - Official Illustrated Guide (ロックマンエグゼのひみつ―オフィシャル設定イラストガイド) being the most recent release (I know this because I own a copy, and it is particularly good for documenting the various advertisements throughout the series, though I do not know exactly how I should reference it. Should I just leave the name of the book on the img's pg in this case?). For the screencaps, since most of them are going to end up being deleted anyways and won't have a purpose on those pgs anymore, I don't see a pt. in fitting each with an ep #. There are a few, however, that I'll add to, like the one of R-Laserman and Slur, since they have their own importances on their respective articles. --Benten 04:25, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I saw the ones you sourced, and those are great. That's exactly what we need. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 04:48, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I can't believe I forgot about this, but upon flipping through the book again, every official pic from each game is in the index of the guide. So I'll just source it in all the applicable imgs; I may not get them all though, as there are probably some obscure pgs I don't know about aside from the ones I frequent. If there's any I miss, feel free to add it in yourself. --Benten 05:09, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Got some questions for you, re MMBN.

  • Which chip in MMBN5 is a reference to Duel Masters, and what was the name of the DM movie that ran as double-billing with Program of Light and Darkness? Can you find a source to confirm this?
  • Can you find a source to confirm that Hideo Kojima's son is a big MMBN fan and that's where the MMBN/Boktai crossovers come from? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 06:01, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well I can answer your first question, but I have no idea about the second. The chips are "Phoenix" and "Death Phoenix" (as listed by my trusty guidebook, although that info is already known). I'll have to check on the name of the DM movie. When I find it I'll tell you. --Benten 14:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can you give me a source to cite that says that this is a reference? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 14:48, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • What, the book's name? Secret of Rockman EXE - Official Illustrated Guide.

Oh, the same guide? Okay. It does say that the chips are based on DM and it's because of the dual billing (rather than just one or the other). I need to know the author, publication month/year, ISBN number, and publisher, then, so I can cite it. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 14:59, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • It doesn't say the chips are based on DM because of the dual billing. I meant that it was the source for the names of the chips themselves. It is known that the two are based on DM because the Phoenix/Death Phoenix monsters originate from DM, and that around the same time, the series reciprocated by creating a card in their card game based on Bass (or Forte). I don't think I would be able to find a source for you on this point, however. I do not believe any of the guides specifically listed this info; it was really a matter of whether or not one could see the connection. (Little update: Ideal808 has images of the cards of the creatures on which the two chips were based: [1] and [2] --Benten 15:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh. I need a source that says they're from Duel Masters. Phooey. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:09, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I re-checked by book; the spelling should be "Deathphoenix" in one word. The English version spells it as "DeathPhoenix". I'm currently looking for a source for the connection to DM. --Benten 15:14, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

That they're from Duel Masters would be decent, that it's because of the dual billing (Duel billing? Oh, I kill myself) would be even better. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:16, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Yeah, I'm aware of that. Right now I'm trying to find the name for the movie, cause from what I heard at the time, it had something to do with Deathphoenix specifically. --Benten 15:19, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Found the title. It's "Duel Masters - Curse of the Deathphoenix". The following site has an image of the poster: [3], and the furigana over "Yami no Shiro no Maryuuou" does indeed read "Curse of the Deathphoenix" in katakana. Now that I think about it, it should have been for the dual feature that the chips were created in the game. Deathphoenix being the focus in the movie, it was made into a chip. Bass being of focus in the EXE movie, he was made into a card. --Benten 15:25, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okay. Actually, that's a nice bit of symmetry, with both the Boktai and Duel Masters crossovers. But we still need a source. :/ - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:32, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't think we're going to find any sources more concise than what has been found so far. It was really a fanbase acknowledgement of the connection. But since that probably won't cut it for citation, there's nothing really that can be done. --Benten 15:38, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

There has to be something. I know that there were promotional cards for both films: e-Reader cards for MMBN5, and cards for Duel Masters. Is there a chance that the cross-promotion was mentioned at the same time as press released/news stories on the promotional cards at the movies? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:40, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • To my knowledge, no there wasn't. At the time that promotions/stories/commercials (etc.) were running for the movies, nothing on the cards was ever mentioned. The trailers didn't even draw attention to the matter. They would just run some clips, then end. --Benten 15:44, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

No press release? No mention in fan press? (I dunno if there's a Japanese equivalent to Scrye, or if it was mentioned in the video game fan press.) - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 15:50, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • If there was, it was probably said in one of the Jump issues (V-Jump, Weekly Jump, CoroCoro etc.) Unfortunately, I do not remember purchasing any of them at the time when the movies were being announced, so I'll never be able to know for sure. --Benten 15:52, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hmm. I don't suppose you could ask around with the Yu-Gi-Oh editors or anyone who might read those? It should be possible to source this. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 16:03, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • The response I'd get (from the EXE editors anyways) would probably be another "I heard that from ______" (most likely rockman-exe.com, since it was there that I recall seeing the Bass card, and such). I'll keep trying to look for a source. --Benten 16:07, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Translation discussions on Yu-Gi-Oh! GX-related pages with WhisperToMe for the future edit

""Maruchi" (or whatever the spelling was you changed it to); Martin's first name is already rendered in katakana, and the "-chi""

By the way, when chi is extended, it is conventionally written as "tchi" (See Hepburn romanization) - I understand Marty is a foreign name. If we are going to show the raw pronunciation, though, and the chi is extended, we use "tchi" WhisperToMe 03:41, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Expanding the Ryusei episode list? edit

Well, Ryusei episodes are building up, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in giving the episodes a separate Wikipedia page. I'd gladly write up summaries. Lemme know what you think. Crimsonseiko 15:05, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Everything on Wikipedia is always going to be subject to vandalism in some form or another, and vandalism isn't very difficult to repair. It just seems like a great way to expand information on the series. But I guess not. Oh well. Just an idea... Crimsonseiko 16:19, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • No one seems to know why that thread vanished from REO's forums. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the authenticity of Viz picking up Ryusei, though, since the thread simply linked to a site that had the confirmation. I'd say NATPE is a reliable-enough source, but maybe reword that line on the Ryusei page to make it sound a little less definite (for now). Crimsonseiko 16:36, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Oh, I figured out why that thread vanished. Apparently, a banned user had signed up from a different IP specifically to post that article, and when the admins saw that he was a banned user, they re-banned him... but, for some reason, deleted his topic too. Which is silly in the long-run since the report originally came from REO's forums, was picked up there on all of the big-name news sites (Atomic-Fire, the UnderSquare)... and then Ryouko of REO "found" the article on those sites and reported it on her site, even though it originated from her own forums. x_X;; -Crimsonseiko 18:00, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

NT Warrior episodes. edit

Here's what I'm thinking...

The MegaMan NT Warrior media and release information has gotten pretty hefty. Don't you think we should make a new page... List of MegaMan NT Warrior episodes... specifically for the episode lists?

Also, I'm thinking we could also expand on that in the same fashion that the Pokémon pages does by providing short two-three sentence summaries for the episodes, separated by series, as done here. I'd be willing to do the work, and I don't see any reason it'd be deemed "superfluous." If an anime with so many episodes as Pokémon can do it, I don't see why MegaMan can't, and I feel it'd be beneficial information.

Tell me what you think.

-Crimsonseiko 14:55, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I was thinking about the size issue as well. Usually it is the DVD sections that get seperate pages. I will split it off and put a link in the article. As for the short sentence summaries, I think that'd be fine, as long as they concern plot, rather than the battles that take place in each episode. (The names should be the English-language version's as well; no need to mention the original names here, as the page would just get bigger). --Benten 15:02, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I wonder if there's a way we could combine the DVD and episode pages together... I remember seeing something like this on the Fullmetal Alchemist pages (though it seems they've since reverted it... probably meaning it's not a good idea after all). But basically, they did the short episode summaries like I suggested, except they had the episodes grouped together by the DVDs with an image of the DVD on the side of the table containing the summaries. (If that doesn't make much sense, I can try to elaborate.) I think that'd be a good way to keep the DVDs and episodes unified... On another note, I'm not sure what you mean by The names should be the English-language version's as well; no need to mention the original names here, as the page would just get bigger. Elaborate please? -Crimsonseiko 15:13, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Well, for the DVDs, I was going by model lists for media and release information like those of South Park or The Simpsons; it's much more space-preserving. The DVD lists are either very compressed on the main episode article (and still have a seperate page), or completely separate. I do understand what you mean for the grouping of the DVDs with the corresponding episodes, but it's probably best to keep it in the aforementioned fashion. For The names should be the English-language version's, I meant that, when the summaries are written, they should employ the English version's name changes (ie. using "Lan Hikari" as opposed to "Hikari Netto," but with no mention of the original names at all). --Benten 15:20, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • OK, that's fine. Question, though... when writing summaries for Stream and on, what names should be used for the new characters, like Nenji? Their English game names? (On a similar note, I suppose that means that characters like Asteroid Plantman and Asteroid Napalmman should be changed to Asteroid VineMan and Asteroid MoltanicMan?) -Crimsonseiko 15:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I would go with the English game names to be consistent with the MegaMan NT Warrior article. And yeah, the Asteroids, Zoanoroids, and Phantom Navis will have to follow the English anime's changes in that respect I suppose. --Benten 15:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit: Oh, there's one more thing I forgot. Do you happen to know the length (in minutes) of Sound Navigation 01, as well as the individual track lengths? It would be a good thing to add to the media and release article under the soundtrack section, sort of like how the tracks are listed for the soundtrack on the X-Men: The Last Stand page. --Benten 15:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I got my iPod handy right now, actually, so I'll go ahead and add the track lengths before I start on the episode pages. -Crimsonseiko 15:42, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Another thought... should the movie be given its own summary page? -Crimsonseiko 16:01, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I don't think so. I think the release information (release date, DVD release date, etc.) is sufficient. Summaries for the episodes should be enough. --Benten 16:03, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Let me know how it looks before I go any further. -Crimsonseiko 16:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I'll get back to work on this later; gotta take my lunch break. However, I wanted to ask another question while I'm away. I know all of the EXE series's art directors, but I'm awful with Wiki-code. Do you know how to edit the code so we can place the art director's name in for the episode summaries list? Thanks! -Crimsonseiko 17:00, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • The tables work from templates. The standard Japanese/English template for anime doesn't include art directors, so trying to add them would not work out. I had thought about this in regards to the Ryusei episode list (after it gets its English version), and I figured that we could just add up the number of episodes each director does on the whole and list it in the production section on the Ryusei page. Anyways, altering tables beyond the points already in the template isn't wise given this situation. --Benten 17:05, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Instead of just adding up how many episodes each director does, why don't we list the episodes they did? Like, for Ryusei, say... "Adachi Shingo (episodes 11, 18, 23)." That way, readers can compare episodes' art styles together. On another note, where should we put this information for EXE? This series has a LOT more art directors than Ryusei. Would it go best in the individual summary pages for each series? -Crimsonseiko 18:07, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • The EXE summaries are done. I'll have to tackle Axess-Beast+ another day. Add/omit/revise anything you need to. On another note, how do you feel about a screenshot for each episode? Like this: List of Fullmetal Alchemist episodes... -Crimsonseiko 20:08, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Hmm...For the Ryusei directors, I still think that a total # would be better than individual episodes (as it would become very much like a list by the time things are tallied up). I would just forget about the art directors for EXE (listing the individual episodes which they directed); it is a somewhat messy affair and may even be a little crufty. And for screenshots for each episodes, I would opt against it since screenshots for episode guides usually require lots of work on the fair use rationale of each image for the article to be considered above start rating. --Benten 01:07, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention: the summaries for Beast and Beast+ can (probably should) be in a combined article, probably titled List of MegaMan NT Warrior episodes (Beast and Beast+). --Benten 01:47, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

EXE Movie edit

The movie needs some kind of plot summary, but I'm having trouble deciding where to place it. There's not quite enough content in the movie for its own article (if we did that, it'd just be a big plot summary and useless trivia like Shun's background cameo)... What Sukecchi and I were considering is placing it on Stream's summary page. I think that's the best place for it, but what do you think? -Crimsonseiko 13:56, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Yeah. That's probably the most logical place to put it. --Benten 14:13, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

reasoning? edit

Benten, i have noticed your activity on some of the Yu-Gi-Oh! set articles. On the Power of the Duelist, Cyberdark Impact, Strike of Neos, and Force of the Breaker articles, I have noticed you have trimmed up the format that the set articles currently have. I have reverted your edits to this, because there is no trace of a discussion to do this to the articles. Not all the set articles have five notable cards that would fit. I would be glad to discuss this matter on my talk page or yours. Red Director 20:38, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I changed the format because it's more encyclopedic to cover a selection of the set rather than just list every single card. With the newer format, the articles are also divided into sections that address the set's mechanics (etc.), as well as the release dates, chronology, and other details. For the notable cards, I think there are five notable cards that could fit per set (either because of them being used for publisizing the expansion, being the lead cards or demonstrations of new archetypes and mechanics, having an impact on professional play, etc.) I just haven't gotten around to every set as of yet to introduce the new format; up until now, I've only gone from Power of the Duelist to Tactical Evolution. --Benten 23:11, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • Benten, there is no problem with what your doing. I have thought it over and your idea seems good other than the 5 notable cards. There could be more or less in some sets. We could make a project on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikiproject to change the format of all the articles. Message back if you think this could work. Red Director 20:00, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Require Imput edit

I'm currently considering a joint page based on Duel Spirits and Duel Energy for GX, dealing with the spirits and the energy. However, currently I have not enough data for such a page, and thus will not create one at the time. As you have access to the Japanese episodes, is there further data in the Japanese version on the two subjects that could be put towards an encyclopedic, notable article? Drake Clawfang 02:03, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't think they need a seperate article. Duel Spirits and Duel Energy are both pretty self-explainatory, and the latter is covered pretty thoroughly already on the Martin Empire page (they are also addressed in numerous others). Creating a joint page would not be the best course; if needed, we could just expand on either of them on the existing pages. --Benten 02:07, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of MegaMan Star Force characters edit

I think it's about time that Ryusei received its own character page covering both the games and anime series in one article, and only the main cast should be left on Ryusei's anime page (with a link to the main article). And before too long, we may need to give the episodes their own page as well. (I'd be willing to write summaries again just like I did with NT Warrior.)

Furthermore, there needs to be some mention of Tsukasa's split personality, two Gemini Spark entities (B & W), and the fact that he's a villain in the show. His description is far too vague...

-Crimsonseiko 14:17, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Actually, I was also planning a separate character page, only covering the manga as well. It would be like the format on the anime article, w/ the humans and their FM partners under a single title (Subaru's parents could also be under a single title, as well as the AM Supervisors). I've been holding back creating the page so that more information can be put into the new page, as there are still missing elements like Cepheus and the AM Supervisors that have yet to make their debuts, and more on Cygnus and Utagai coming up. I think it would be most useful to wait a couple more weeks before I start the article.

For the episodes, the list is still acceptable in terms of size for now. I wouldn't worry about them until after the character page is created, though we should use the format for the individual series pages w/ the summaries and all (considering that Ryusei only has one series at present, as opposed to EXE which had five).

As it stands, it has not yet been revealed that Tsukasa's split personality is an element incorporated into the anime (Hikaru may not exist in the anime altogether), so nothing needs to be mentioned to that effect, at least not yet. --Benten 14:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit: Oh, forgot one thing. When I create the character article, I'll be cutting down the plot on the game's page to only what is necessary (as was suggested by the comments for the game's article a while back), and adding the removed information to the character article. I'll also be redirecting the Subaru Hoshikawa page to the joint article, so individual pages for human characters and FMs can be avoided altogether. --Benten 14:41, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

That sounds good. Lemme know if there's anything I could do to help when you start all of that. -Crimsonseiko 17:29, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Crystal Beasts edit

I'm just wondering why they were dubbed as such, because once they reach the Giese Hunt episodes with the G-E-M cards, it's going to look strange. Drake Clawfang 00:32, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm aware of that. But that's just how Konami ended up translating it. Technically, no rule was broken, given that "Crystal" is one letter too long for the Spell/Trap Zones, and the word "Gem" was never used in any other case (Hōgyoku is used everywhere else); it could just be simple word association. --Benten 00:35, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ah, okay. Janime had a similar issue until the Hunt episodes as well, I believe. Perhaps they'll end up using the three terms interchangably for the Spells and Traps, if Hogyoku translates as such. Thanks for clearing that up. Drake Clawfang 00:58, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • As a note on Atticus, you mentioned he's come back. Didn't he graduate in Season 2, being ahead of the Jaden and co. by a year? Drake Clawfang 23:27, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Nope. As mentioned in his article, he had to repeat his second year in the second season. --Benten 00:44, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

On a Yubel note, is there any explanation as to how it came from being a Duel Spirit to a corporeal being everyone can see? Drake Clawfang 03:36, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Remember that the cast was still in the other world when Yubel regained its body. In the other world, all Duel Spirits are visible. --Benten 15:23, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • True, but there's still the Eye in the capsule, as well as the Devil Hand. I'm just curious is all. Drake Clawfang 01:08, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ryusei no Rockman --> Mega Man Star Force edit

The RnR anime page is gonna need to be moved since the English version is premiering in 10 days... I'll let you take care of all that. -Crimsonseiko 19:11, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I'll give it a couple more days before moving it to avoid having to move it more than once if anything changes for the English version before now and the time it airs. --Benten 14:01, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • OK, the English version has officially aired on Jetstream. I'll take care of all the changes we need, and I plan to go ahead and start a separate article for the episode guide... But I can't move the article because Mega Man Star Force (anime) already exists as a redirect to Ryūsei no Rockman, and I don't know how to switch them. -Crimsonseiko 03:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Take it to Wikipedia:Requested moves and request that the page be moved over top the redirect under uncontroversial moves. I'm on vacation, so I don't have as much time as I usually do to oversee something like that. --Benten 21:13, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jesse Anderson/Andersen edit

Hmm...

"(cur) (last) 20:11, 15 April 2007 Benten (Talk | contribs | block) (moved Jesse Anderson (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) to Jesse Andersen over redirect: Closed captioning spelt it w/ an 'e'.)"

My copies of Shonen Jump say "Anderson" in the YGO GX card pages! WhisperToMe 06:50, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Took care of it. The dub anime spells it with an "e", while the TCG spells it with an "o".

The intro tag edit

I prefer the older introduction tag style. Why put the Japanese characters before the actual Japanese name? The MOSJA standard is "Japanese name" (Japanese Literal reading) - We should keep the English name NICE and SEPARATED from the MOSJA template. WhisperToMe 03:37, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'll take care of it. --Benten 10:21, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ryusei 26 edit

Although I can't claim to be fluent in Japanese, I have been known to get a lot of these translations right, so I'm not completely credit-less. With that said, I urge you to reconsider the translation of Ryusei 26, 帰って来た男. Everything I keep coming up with is "The Man Who Returns" or something close to that. I'm not sure how you're getting "return" to be an adverb, and regardless, "The Returning Man" just really doesn't make any sense... I'm not discarding the possibility I'm wrong (which is why I don't just keep changing it on the article over and over)... So, if I am, please explain to me why. -Crimsonseiko 15:58, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • When I originally translated it, I kinda likened it to the title of a Japanese movie of the same name, which had its title translated as The Returning Man. But, "The Man Who Returns" is just fine; "That Man Returns" just didn't really seem precise enough, given that it didn't include ano otoko. I'll change it. --Benten 21:40, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Cool! Thanks, man. Yeah, I'm not particularly sure why I stuck "That Man Returns" in instead of "The Man Who Returns" like I usually type it. I guess after typing up summaries for the whole series, you let little things slip. =P -Crimsonseiko 15:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just put the article up for peer review to figure out how much more work it needs and to ascertain whether or not Lost Memories is to be used extensively. Thought you should know. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 17:21, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ryuusei Navis edit

So, I went to change the names of the Navis that are in Ryuusei to their Star Force names but I was shocked to discover that they were gone. Looking back I saw you removed them stating that the Star Force article covers them...but they aren't even mentioned. So..what do you want to do? Add them back to the navi article or put them in the Star Force character article? -Sukecchi 11:55, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Jim GX.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Jim GX.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:45, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Aster Phoenix edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Aster Phoenix, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Blair Flannigan edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Blair Flannigan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Blair Flannigan. Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Wonderful Life DVD.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Wonderful Life DVD.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Starr (6teen character). Since you had some involvement with the Starr (6teen character) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Contradicting Cybersix airdates edit

Hello there! I'm not sure if you're still around but I have a question to ask; why are the airdates for the Cybersix episodes different from each other in the Cybersix and Cybersix (TV series) articles? The latter specifies its from Teletoon and aired earlier, while there is no source for the former, I'm thinking maybe its from Telefe but I can't find the airdates for it, or maybe its an error? I've put {{Contradicts other}} on the articles and created a section on one of the talk pages so I could get some clarification. I ask you this bc I see that you were the one to have first added the airdates. WearyandHeavyLaden (talk) 07:25, 12 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
