Request reason:

In a situation where there is a dispute about the Russian point of view on the Ukrainian self-identification of a person, I pointed out that an administrator of Russian origin may have a conflict of interests. In the same discussion, this administrator brutally insulted me by calling me a "Ukrainian troll". According to his complaint, I was blocked indefinitely, and he was not even given a warning. I didn't start a war of edits. I presented the arguments of my plea. I have speculated about political engagement without value. I said that I did not want to discuss with him only after he humiliated me. 1. I believe that I did not violate the rules of Wikipedia by making a logical assumption about a conflict of interest. 2. I believe that the administrator with such destructive behavior should at least be warned about the inadmissibility of humiliating other users, especially for their nationality or point of view. 3. In his complaint, among the arguments, this user indicated that I am Ukrainian and that I have a small number of edits. I cannot be persecuted for being a newcomer or for my national identity. 4. I understand that I could have behaved more calmly and judiciously and should not have entered into a provocative dispute with this user Belcher.Jr (talk) 18:57, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Comment: Using someone’s ethnic origin and language as an insult or assumption of bias is a very clear-cut violation of WP:NPA. Your unblock request would not go very far if you fail to show you understand this. NM 02:54, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
So I didn't insult, they insulted me, and I only pointed out a political bias because of his origin. Is there a difference when he emphasizes that only Ukrainians consider him their own and sources from authors of other nationalities are necessary, when he baselessly calls Ukrainian mass media propaganda, when he contemptuously says that another Ukrainian has come to prove to you that Malevich is somehow not what the community thinks he is? Why when I say that this Russian is politically biased is blocking, but when the administrator says that the users are Ukrainian trolls and their opinion is not authoritative, it is ok. I just want to say that there are two opinions here, and the representative of one of them should not judge, and he should communicate with respect and courtesy. I'm not saying that all Russians are politically biased, but this one is. And I know for a fact that in a different context, claims of origin would be completely unacceptable. Although, if it's only obvious to me, then I guess I really don't belong here Belcher.Jr (talk) 10:14, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Would you please immediately stop called me "Russian" and never start doing this again. This is factually incorrect. I told this to you before, I am not sure what is so difficult here. The last user who insisted on calling me a "Russian administrator" has eventually been globally banned by the community, but I guess in your case, if you choose to continue, just revoking talk page access would be sufficient. You started by calling Ymblanter a “Russian administrator” and still insist on calling him “this Russian”. If you think it’s okay to bring up someone’s ethnic origin as a negative point in an argument, you shouldn’t be editing Wikipedia. NM 11:40, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
