About Me edit

My name is Brenden, I am attending St. Charles Community College for one year and then Transferring to Mizzou. My hobbies are hanging out with my friends, playing sports, and working out.

Tip edit

Hi Brenden. Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm another volunteer editor here, with an interest in medicine and psychology articles. Can I offer you a tip? Per our guideline for health-related articles, the best sources for such articles are scientific journals or university-level textbooks. So, rather than cite the Time article, cite the journal article they were reporting on.
  • They mentioned the date and the name of the journal, Neurology, so I went to the that edition on the journal's website and got the name of the article: "Alcohol consumption, mild cognitive impairment, and progression to dementia."
  • I searched for that title here: PubMed. This is a really useful site for quickly searching a massive database of med and psych journals. Beneath the abstract is the article's PubMed ID. In this instance it is 17515541.
  • Go to the Dementia edit page and replace the existing citation, [http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1623739,00.html], with this: {{PMID|17515541}}.
In a few hours, a bot will come along and write a perfect journal citation for you. Hope you don't mind me butting in. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 15:20, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Talk page and User Page edit

Please put your assignments section on your user page not the talk page. YOu have not done a good job of picking "stub" class articles, so go back and try to do week 3 again. Be sure to pick articles that need a lot of improvement. --MTHarden (talk) 13:58, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
