Sources edit

Hello, can you please add your sources to Shantinagar, Dhaka? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 13:53, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I actually give the information that I know because I used to live in that area or if I have any misunderstanding please can you make me understand? I am an editor in Wikipedia since this month, Thank you Bayernfan2003
You need to add reliable sources for all information given because it allows readers to confirm whether that information is true or not. 'Bayernfan2003 said so' is not a reference/source we can use. Thanks, !dave 10:16, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 30 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rajarbagh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shantinagar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

December 2017 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Antonio Rüdiger, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:14, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

I saw 15 appearances in premier league's website so I decided to change it . But still thank you for correcting it. User:Bayernfan2003.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Davide Zappacosta. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:30, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

But he scored a goal in premier league why not??????

You need to actually link to it, using a reference, see WP:REFB for help. There's a bit of empathy to this: you might have seen something, and know that it is true, but step into someone else's shoes as someone who knows absolutely nothing about football. How can they take Wikipedia's word for it? They know one thing: anyone can edit it, so it doesn't make it a reliable source in itself. They need to see something which verifies such assertion made in the article. In that way, they have a way to see that what has been is true. You do have a reference, but you haven't added it. Please, add it. Further failures to understand WP:V will result in a block, as competency is required to edit Wikipedia. !dave 08:29, 31 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

So which means I failed to give reference???

Actually, I do sincerely apologise, since the infobox is part of the lead section, a reference is not required, and you were updating the goals to what it said in the stats below, which were referenced. Thanks for that, actually. !dave 09:22, 31 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Its ok then. But wait, there is a mistake actually Antonio Rudiger scored 2 goals not 3 goals. He scored 1st goal against Swansea city then scored the 2nd goal against Stoke City so where do you find the 3rd goal??

English-medium schools in Bangladesh edit

The article looks good. Add more citation and if possible schools from outside of Dhaka. I would also recommend expanding the lead.Vinegarymass911 (talk) 04:24, 11 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

What is lead?? sorry about that Bayernfan2003 (talk) 08:57, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

The lead is the first paragraph of the article. No worries. In the first paragraph you can expand on the types of English medium school, when te first one was founded, etc. with sources.Vinegarymass911 (talk) 14:07, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Comilla Cantonment. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 12:59, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Hello. I have seen you are editing cricket related articles. As a member of the projects, I am inviting you to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket and Wikipedia:WikiProject Bangladesh Premier League. Thank you. Human (talk) 12:08, 23 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for inviting me to join those projects, but now I only want to be a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket not Wikipedia:WikiProject Bangladesh Premier League for now. Bayernfan2003 (talk) 12:19, 23 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Since much of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 13:09, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

June 2018 edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Jonny Bairstow does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thank you for changing the picture at Jonny Bairstow to a better one. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 21:06, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
