List of micronations edit

I have reverted your addition of a non-notable micronation. Please refer to the list criteria before adding any entries to this list. Thank you. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:37, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

The list criteria is "small, self-proclaimed entities that claim to be independent sovereign states but which are not acknowledged as such by any recognised sovereign state, or by any supranational organization", which is exactly what the Republic of Strömsborg was. Bandy långe (talk) 14:05, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
If it does meet one of the list criteria, then please find a actual source to that effect instead of a link to a Facebook thread. I have removed it again in the meantime. --Kinu t/c 14:15, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Bandy långe, when you edited that page, you should have seen this notice at the top of the page in the list formatting instructions: Description and <ref>references</ref> go here (40 words or less please. Tag "Allegedly Internet-only" as appropriate.) If your entry does not have a well-sourced Wikipedia article, you must include at least one reference here. (Emphasis added) Facebook pages are not reliable sources for notability. The talk page also says at the top: Please don't ask us to add a new micronation to this list unless it has an article. This is a list of notable micronations, meaning that they have Wikipedia articles with sufficient reliable sources to show that they are notable. Your link went not to an article about the supposed micronation on the island but to the island itself. That does not satisfy the criteria I mention. I realize these are restrictive criteria and they're intended to be restrictive. They have been arrive at by the broader community here after much discussion and they are unlikely to change any time soon. I hope this helps. Formation (bandy) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Formation (bandy), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Raksila Artificial Ice Rink Pakkalan kenttä moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for creating Raksila Artificial Ice Rink Pakkalan kenttä. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:05, 15 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@MPGuy2824, I have added sources to it and am now waiting for its review. I find it very unsatisfactory that it will take months until it has been reviewed. Wouldn’t it just have been better to remind me to add the sources so it could be ready already? Now the article will be in draft space limbo for months and people will not know about it. Bandy långe (talk) 18:44, 17 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Your article seems to have been accepted by an AFC reviewer a few hours back. For future reference though: Once you feel that one of your creations has enough sources to pass WP:N, you can move it to mainspace yourself. There is no need to wait for AFC, since you are autoconfirmed. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:00, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
