ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:10, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

List of Perry Mason episodes

Hello. I undid your removal of the information I added to List of Perry Mason episodes so I could copy the change for season 6 to add back since I must have accidently removed information while trying to edit one section. I just wanted to give you a heads up if you got notification that I reverted it. I fixed the article now with all information. LongLiveMusic (talk) 04:29, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Could the whole cleanup list for a project be sorted by importance?

As there are so many categories it is very hard to see what are the problems with the top importance articles for our project (climate change). Would this be an easy sort for you to add? Chidgk1 (talk) 12:47, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

@Chidgk1: At the top of the page there is a link to an Alphabetic listing which can be sorted by Importance. --Bamyers99 (talk) 13:45, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
great thanks Chidgk1 (talk) 14:26, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

Bambots Template Parameters

re https://bambots.brucemyers.com/TemplateParam.php?wiki=enwiki&template=Short+description

The report lists 38 articles that use a SD template with an unnamed p2. This is invalid for this template.

The report lists the different p2 values and in a few cases, the p2 text can be fed into a search and the bad article found. However, the text is often too generic and the search returns too many articles to be of help.

In the case where there is just one article with a specific parameter value, could the output line be altered to also link to the offending article? That would help greatly when fixing the bad templates. Thanks — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 20:16, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

@GhostInTheMachine: According to the docs, p2 is a valid parameter with one allowed value of "noreplace". I have updated the TemplateData with a suggested value of "noreplace". This will cause the template extractor to display a link labeled "errors" which will display the pages that have a value other than "noreplace". This link will not be displayed until the next extraction run at the beginning of March. --Bamyers99 (talk) 21:34, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
Sounds good. Thanks — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 12:34, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

Heads up

Wanted to let you know that I updated the CleanupWorklistBot entry for WP:TVS with Special:Diff/1145242154. The bot lost assessment information once we converted to a WP:TV task force. Wanted to make you aware in case my change comes with other changes on your end (as links and data continuity will break, etc.). Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 07:25, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Article quality ratings moving into banner shell

This is just to let you know that a change in Template:WikiProject banner shell and Template:WPBannerMeta was made yesterday that allows people to enter the class rating in the banner shell template, and this will then be inherited by all project banners on that page (unless they have opted out). The assessment categories should be unaffected, so I'm not sure if any changes to the bot's code will be needed, but please do check. Best wishes — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:51, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
