December 2011 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kunwar Amarjeet Singh. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 20:59, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

HEY Funnyfarmofdoom edit

Please I need help. I am in contact with Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Shakti Mohan and there info on wiki is incomplete and some of it wrong. I am trying to improve there page and this Davy1996 kid isnt letting me do that. Isnt wrong info on wiki against the rules so why isnt there any action being taken. Im editing the profile again and i hope you being the admin wont let the stupid edit war to continue. Thanks.

At this point, I would try to stay away from editing this page. You have now disclosed you have a conflict of interest WP:COI. Here at wikipedia, we frown against edits made by users associated with the subject of an article. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 21:31, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Kunwar Amarjeet Singh.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 21:30, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Funnyfarmofdoom edit

ermmm excuse me but its not really a conflict of interest. i am not related to kunwar Amar.. nor am i getting any thing in return of this editing. I have been in contact with Amar and when I know that the information provided by wikipedia is incorrect then why shouldnt I be allowed to correct it.

You need to provide the source with the edit. Not in the next edit. Not in the next hour. Not in the next day. Please see WP:VRS and WP:BLP.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 22:38, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
First: as mentioned above, one thing we don't want is edit warring. In case of a content dispute, please discuss things on the article's talk page rather than continuing the edit-revert-edit-revert-etc chain. That chain willl be broken by (usually temporarily) banning one or more of the edit-warring parties. Second: Wikipedia is all about verifiability, not (necessarily) truth. Especially in the case of a biography of a living person your edits have to be backed up with verifiable, reliable sources. You are of course more than welcome to correct information that is incorrect, but you'll need to provide references to do so (and no, saying "I talked to him and he told me" is not considered verifiable). I hope this helps you understand why your contributions are being reverted and that it's nothing personal, just necessary policy. -- Skysmurf  (Talk) 22:44, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

User Bakho , I agree with u ! edit

Hey Look Mr. Bakho , I have reverted ur edits because of addition of unsourced content (HG) . I have seen ur message on my Talk Page . Its good if you know Kunwar Amarjeet Singh & Shakti Mohan .

For that , I appreciate whatever u r doing and I can understand that You may be want to correct the Info . but Its a Internet World & Man , How can I believe that you are the Relative of Kunwar Amarjeet Singh ? .

So , Its better to provide the Source or References with the change u are doing & Plzzz dont reply again that He told u to change his article .

Secondly , You need the proper use of Grammer . So Plzz , Use the Sandbox if you are a new User or use Show preview button to check the mistakes . Its just beacause u removed the already provided tag of References, I have reverted the edits & Its just not personal there .

Man , again , I understand ur intention towards Kunwar Amarjeet Singh .
Happy Editing . Thanxxxx ----  Divy1996 (Talk) 06:43, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contribution to Kunwar Amar, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you.

You have added two unusual paragraphs to the Kunwar Amar . First One is Performances & Second One is Chroegraphy . This is not supposed to be done to a biography . Both are sourced but not relating to Kunwar Amar , instead both relating more towards Dance India Dance (season 2) and Dil Dosti Dance . The performances Section u added should be contributed to Dance India Dance (season 2) & Choreography para must contributed to Dil Dosti Dance .

So , It has been restored until the para Dancing Career . 10nxx  Buddha Putra - Rahul (Talk) 07:58, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
