Speedy deletion nomination of Nicholas Hare Architects edit

Hello Baggie08,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nicholas Hare Architects for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sulfurboy (talk) 11:18, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Nicholas Hare Architects, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Since the previous speedy deletion request the page has remained uncited and still contains almost entirely promotional information. While the subject might be notable, the present content is little more than a list of awards and projects and would need to be totally rewritten to meet WP:NPOV. Having looked at your other article, I don't think you're a deliberate spammer anymore (I shouldn't have anyway - WP:AGF). On the other hand, one of your articles is severely biased, the other is probably not notable, and all your edits are directly to your articles or to add links to them. With the apparent relationship between them, the note on writing about yourself and your work might be relevant - even if you're trying to be neutral and objective, it's difficult to do so when writing about things close to you. I suggest you edit some different articles and get more experience with editing on Wikipedia before creating additional ones, and ideally avoid subjects where you might have a confilict of interest altogether. In short, please don't think I'm trying to persecute you because I don't think your current articles meet the guidelines - I'm just trying to keep Wikipedia tidy and unbiased. ;-) FLHerne (talk) 15:27, 27 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
