Separate Koshal state should be formed. edit
It is a long demanding process of western odisha people.from a long period of time this region have been dominating with underdevelopment though it's productive and magnificent resources as compared to other parts of odisha. It has a different cultural significance and a unique traditional aspects. Most important harvesting festival "Nuakhai" celebrating with enthusiasm now a days getting popular in all India. Not only in India but also in abroad this festival have been celebrating by the koshali/sambalpuri speaking people. The famous song Rangabati with the lyrics is Very much adopted by the musicians in whole world. This koshal region is contributing approximately two-third revenue to the odisha budget. The most important district i.e. Bargarh is known as the rice bowl of odisha. But due to the negligence efforts by the government most of the farmers suicide cases r reported each and every year.
