Fair use images edit

You may not host fair use images on your userpage, per our policy at WP:NFCC #9. --Hammersoft (talk) 16:49, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Fair use images are those that are copyrighted. You can tell what is and what is not an image used under terms of fair use here by looking at the image description page and seeing what license tag is on that image. For example, if you look at File:Homer Simpson 2006.png, scrolling down to the "Licensing" section, you'll note that it has a box there that starts off "This is a copyrighted image..." and also contains this icon:

Any time you see that symbol on an image description page, you are NOT permitted to use that image on anything but actual encyclopedia articles. Any page beginning with "User:" is not an article, and is considered to be in the "userspace".
  • Our policy on this is codified at WP:NFCC point #9. I pointed this pointed this policy out to you before. Yet, you restored a bunch of fair use images on to your userpage anyway. You're aware of the policy. There's no excuse for violating it. If you continue to violate it, you can and will be blocked from editing on this site until such time as you are willing to abide by our policies. I hope I've been clear. If not, ask questions rather than place fair use images on your userpage again. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:42, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have once again removed non-free content from your userpage, per WP:NFCC #9. If you persist in placing non-free content on your userpage, your userpage will be reverted to a version not containing non-free content, protected from editing, and you will be blocked from editing. --Hammersoft (talk) 13:45, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Secondary user pages edit

I requested User:Bladimir Moyano be deleted, as there is no account registered under that name. If you wish to retain the name, register that name and then create a redirect from that page to your userpage. --Hammersoft (talk) 16:49, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your user page is now semi-protected edit

I have added semi-protection to your user page due to ip users, possibly you not logged in, repeatedly adding non-free images to it. Please log in to edit your own user page, and please stop adding non-free content to your user page, it's already been explained to you why this is not permitted, and further instances may lead to a block.
