hello, I would like to ask

edit

Hello. I am curious whether you are currently a student at EMU. I am trying to put together a bid for Wikimania 2017 to be held in Ypsilanti on the campus of EMU. I am a student at EMU and would like to get a group together to organize such an effort. Five students minimum are required to apply to be recognized as a Student Organization (which would be incredibly beneficial). If you are currently a student and interested in joining me in the exploratory bid committee that I am hoping to form, please let me know. The sooner the better. If not, please let me know if you still want to lend your support. Wikimania has in the past been held on the campuses of Harvard and George Washington University, and I am 100% certain EMU is capable of hosting the event. Please correspond as soon as is possible.

Hi! It's cool to find an experienced Wikipedia user at EMU. I have to confess (as you probably figured out) that I'm still basically just a Wikipedia novice. But yes, I do currently attend Eastern. I'm a graduate student in the history department. I used to be involved in a lot of student orgs as an undergrad, but I don't have quite as much time as I used to. I'm still interested, though. This would be a significant event to have at EMU! BFSEsq (talk) 20:26, 23 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
