Welcome!

Hello, and Welcome to the Wikipedia, BFExpert! Thanks for the contributions over on the Tegla Laroupe bio. Your good faith edits, contrary to the opinion expressed below, absolutely should not be labeled as vandalism, even though the untoward allegation, itself, seems to have been made in good faith (as it includes a lengthy explanation). Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:

And some odds and ends: Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Verifiability, Village pump, and Wikiquette; also, you can sign your name on any page by typing four tildes: ~~~~. Best of luck, BFExpert, and most importantly, have fun! Ombudsman 17:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Ice (comics), was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Adding categories to articles without supporting material in the main article is not a particularly good idea; in particular, the "Fictional swimmers" category isn't meant to cover every character ever seen swimming, but rather those for whom swimming is a significant part of their character. For example, while Aquaman should have the category (for obvious reasoms), Starfire probably shouldn't, as the only time I've ever seen her swimming was after she fell into the pool while sparring with Donna Troy.
