Citation edit

Please!, Don't make citations changes like a "minor edit"! Thanks. ;) Ytotrip (talk) 21:24, 24 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Adding mere citations requested by the maintenance bot are minor edits. Major revisions to pages would be major edits. If you are new to wikipedia editing, we can help! Awolnetdiva (talk) 22:06, 25 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, i just think the addition of a citation is something important, but ok, i get it. Ytotrip (talk) No problem! You were definitely correct in that the value of that particular citation needed amended. Awolnetdiva (talk) 18:47, 26 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Problems with upload of File:Virex manual cover.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Virex manual cover.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:05, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I took the photo of a-pre 1923 manual. I have added the license tag and citation. 174.59.248.113 (talk) 07:39, 2 May 2011 (UTC)Awolnetdiva (talk) 20:03, 13 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Better source request for File:Virex manual cover.jpg edit

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:20, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cultural Marxism edit

I'm just pasting what I've just written on your new Cultural marxism talk page, in case it gets deleted before you see it (as I've nominated it for speedy deletion under WP:SALT:

Actually there was an AfD on the topic, and as it was a controversial deletion/redirect, three WP:UNINVOLVED admins were called on to decide what the consensus was. Their discussion can be found here, and part of the decision was to WP:SALT the previous article (the one you've now set your sights on recreating... and I suspect you've gotten around that WP:SALT by using Cultural marxism as the page title rather than Cultural Marxism.
Also, asking people to prove a negative is kinda ridiculous on your part. You probably won't find any sources saying there are no dogs on the moon - that doesn't mean there are dogs on the moon. Whilst Cultural Marxism is a phrase that came up in academia in the 1960s and 70s, it was never well defined enough to be studied academically in of it's self. This was discussed during the AfD on the subject, for this reason the academic usage of the word does not pass WP:NOTABILITY, and the Right-Wing conspiracy usage of the word has been deemed WP:FRINGE and folded into the Frankfurt School page as a section there in. --Jobrot (talk) 12:24, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi Awolnetdiva,
As noted above, this was a big issue a few months ago, and the result of a wide-ranging discussion was consensus to delete and redirect to the Frankfort School section. There is a draft version at Draft:Cultural Marxism, which (last I checked) can be edited, but which will require a new consensus to move to the main article space. Also, as a general note, you can't just start rebuilding an article based on archived versions; you lose the attribution required. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:33, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Tucson edit

That was a storm in a teacup, an abandoned homeless encampment with nothing sinister about it. Natural Newsfails WP:RS quite obviously. Doug Weller talk 10:48, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

True, but it was so big on the news cycle(storm in a teacup indeed) that it deserved entry at the time. Fortunately it went away as fast as it arrived. Awolnetdiva (talk) 01:28, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
