Biological Value

I noticed you appear to be involved in biology articles or WikiProjects relating to biology and human processes. This article, on a method for evaluating biological utilizations rates of proteins in humans and animals, was started in August and is in need of the attention of an expert. We are having trouble locating one and the article desperately needs it. This method is used constantly in bodybuilding magazines and products and is the subject of much misinformation and half-truths. On the other hand it does appear to have some value. Please help if possible. In case you're wondering why I picked you I just looked through some Science WikiProjects and biology articles and your name appeared a lot in one or both categories. Incidentally if you decide not to do this for whatever reason there's no need to reply. I'll just take it you're busy or uninterested and leave it at that. Thanks. In this edit, you managed to make several serious mistakes.

1. Please do not refer to good-faith edits, however wrong, as "vandalism". This is vandalism. None of user:Beaconsfield's edits are even close. See WP:VANDAL#What vandalism is not.
2. Please do not bite the newcomers such as Beaconsfield.
3. Please do not speculate on the real-world identity of good-faith editors.
4. Please do not call anyone a sockpuppet without also producing convincing evidence. (Tenuous historical associations do not count.)
5. Please do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia.
6. If you think an edit to a biographical article was made by the subject of that article, do not blindly revert it. See WP:BLP#Dealing with edits by the subject of the article.
7. Please note that http://www.rodneycroome.id.au/other_more?id=605_0_2_0_M is not in itself acceptable as a source, per Wikipedia:Convenience links#Reliability.

I get the impression you have taken upon yourself the role of Gatekeeper for David Flint. If so, you are violating several of Wikipedia's fundamental tenets — and belying your own claim to be an adult. CWC 14:27, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

New Guinea Land Dummying Scam

Hi, AussieBoy. Glad to meet you. Thanks for your message regarding the New Guinea affair. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks the JH article is a cleansed version. It's pretty crazy that some people just want to delete facts. And so far, I haven't been able to do anything about it. I'm relatively new to Wikipedia also, so I don't know the ropes as well as I should. According to the Wiki etiquette rules, deleting 'useful content' is a real no-no. But today I failed in the Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts to have anything done about it. Anyway, stay in touch. It's good to know there's someone else out there who agrees! Hi, AussieBoy. I'm an Italian user of it.wiki and I found in your user page that you speak Thai language. I'm looking for documentation about the use of backswimmers as food in Thai cook (for an article in the it.wiki). Do you know about a thai dish named "Jom"? I read that is a dish based on rice and backswimmers. In th.wiki there is an article (Jom) but I don't understand this language: would you tell me about the subject of this article? Sorry for the slow response, not been on Wiki for a while. There is no good solution to MrAlbert and his sockpuppets (although you can try to report him, he's been banned many times). He loves the fast revert and is prepared to stay up all night, slow motion reverts work best (or at least they have on the AA article). Linguistic trivia

I've been searching for a Brit PhD, but it's a bit hard to find one so maybe an Aussie will do!

Do the British (to your knowledge) or the Australians still use the construction - "The professor read the lecture." Or has it become Americanized so that "The professor gave the lecture?" Any references appreciated! Smallbones (talk) 02:26, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
