I reverted your edits to the article because the tone of all of them seemed to lessen or belittle the discrimination faced by Chinese Indonesians. Furthermore, as the article is a Good Article, the changes are, in my view, not necessary. Your point about the removal of the cross reference is fair, and I have restored it. I think that wholesale reversion is out of keeping with the editing guidelines, but I'll take another look and, where I make changes, provide sources and justification.
