St. Louis Aldermen

I've just started map work on Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis and the articles for each ward. Putting the proper wards on the proper neighborhood pages is going to take a while, but do you have any thoughts on how we should lay out the ward pages? I'm not sure what kind of infobox template to use or really what kind of information should be there that isn't on the individual neighborhood pages. Thoughts? Proposed deletion of Cook College and Theological School

The article Cook College and Theological School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unable to find evidence that this place exists. Accreditation link is broken, website describes a ministry program offering workshops. Google search shows lots of reference to "Cook College" in Tempe, AZ; however, all links to it are broken or outdated. Since article had no refs to begin with, I suggest deleting.

Hi,

I realize that the 1914 WWI image is in the public domain, as by definition are all the covers of the NYT from that period (they are at http://www.nytimes.com/onthisday/), but I don't feel that counts as a replacement for a modern-day image. Unlike a photograph of a building or location that could easily be replaced with a free content version, there are no public domain versions of a modern NYT front page available. This seems to be the standard used for other similar newspaper cover images; the London Times, for instance, was founded in 1785, so clearly a public domain cover is available, but instead a fair use cover from August 25 of this year is used in the article's infobox. The other reason for replacing the WWI cover was that it related to a specific major news story, like the fair use 9/12/01 cover it was briefly replaced with, and in the discussion on the talk page we thought a more typical cover was better suited. A lot of newspapers for smaller cities and towns in the US have images from the Shuttle return to flight mission in 2005 as the fair use covers used in the infoboxes on their articles, which was a large news story at the time but in contrast to 9/11 and WWI was relatively short-term. Help with the National memo article

Hi. I noticed that 2007 you've made several professional contributions to Gene Lyons's article and decided to ask for your help with The National Memo article. Lyons is a frequent contributor to it so I assume that you know this media (and the liberal press) quite well. The article has been undergoing dramatic edits and I ask for your assistance in editing/improving this article.

I while ago I was asked to make several minor edits to the article as paid editor (properly stated according to WP COI editing rules). At that time the article had minimal content and was no more than a stub. I’ve added some information following the structure of such articles as Salon (website), HuffPost, Politico adding infobox, improving categories and adding some well-referenced info. The article started to look like a normal website/media article. After that it got heavily edited in two waves by editors deleting large chunks of well-written (ok, my personal view :)) and well-referenced information. I believe that some of these edits/deletions are extraneous and actually make the article worse/less useful to Wikipedia users. I also believe that The National Memo article has an undisputable notability. There is an interesting discussion about this at the article’s Talk page.

A lot of what is going on around this article is plain nonsense. So if you are interested in the subject/in improving the article, please take a look at January 10th version or January 29th version. Also if you have any suggestions on improving the article, please share.
