Thank you for your review. Can you elaborate what kind of more sources do you expect?

At the current state of the draft, we already cite peer reviewed article in well-known journals. These articles were reviewed by other people who are not involved in the project and thus are reliable. Apart from documentation, and links to software archives, we can only offer:

  • other articles which have been produced using these softwares - but would that be relevant?
  • discussions in social media (reddit, twitter)
  • links to other wikipedia page which have similar purposes

Being an budding open-source project, this is all we can provide. We don't have newspaper articles, for example. In my opinion in much better state than articles of much more popular projects like Numba, which has no references but just links to their websites. Ashwinvis (talk) 08:15, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

None of the types of sources you have listed are suitable for the purposes of demonstrating notability - indeed, they are not even suitable as sources for verifying content. If such sources are all that is available, then your company is not a suitable topic for Wikipedia to have an article on. Yunshui  09:16, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have a strong correction to make: this page is not about a company and not even a non-profit organization. We are not a corporate entity. This is an academic open-source project, so published peer-reviewed papers, conferences posters and related webpages we can provide, if needed. See for example FEniCS_Project which has a similar page and is similar approach that we took. Ashwinvis (talk) 09:21, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Tomayto, tomahto. Company or project doesn't really matter; the point is that you appear to be here solely to ensure that Wikipedia has an entry on FluidDyn, regardless of whether Wikipedia actually wants such an entry or not. Since you have an obvious conflict of interest with the project, and since the content you're adding is very clearly intended to drive traffic towards it, you can expect to be treated like any other editor who is promoting their company, whether the entity in question is actually a company or not. You have raised several objections, allegations and set high standards, which I don't see other articles such as Numba, FEniCS_Project following. This former has only organization links, and the latter was only created by an anonymous author. I have found a couple of secondary sources which list the projects mentioned. I would appreciate constructive criticism, if you can provide it. Otherwise, thank you for your answers. Ashwinvis (talk) 09:43, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
