October 2023 edit

Hello, Ashleybear8, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Okidokihens (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Wracking talk! 17:49, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Justin Raisen, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   Hello, Ashleybear8. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Justin Raisen, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Wracking talk! 00:51, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Page ownership edit

In your latest edit at Justin Raisen, your edit summary stated: Edits made from the source of whom this page is written about. No further edits should be made at this time. Presumably, you mean that Mr Raisen himself is directing your editing efforts. Please understand, and convey to Mr Raisen, that he does not own this page or get to dictate its contents. Wikipedia relies on what independent reliable sources say about a subject, not what the subject themselves would like to say. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:31, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Per this edit, you have clearly not understood my above message about page ownership. Let me clarify: Justin Raisen does not get to decide the content of Wikipedia's biography of him. You do not get to change the contents of the article simply because he has told you to. Continued editing in this vein will result in you being blocked.
