This person is not notable. I agree that he is the key person of Exhilway but this is not enough to establish notability. I also agree that news and other media has published about this person but he seems to be notable only in a single matter i.e. in Exhilway. So, I marked it for deletion. Year/Date of birth/death categories

I see that you changed the categories on Alfred Edward Ikin from Category:Year of birth missing to Category:Date of birth missing (and similarly for deaths). Please read the wording of the latter category carefully: it says "This category is intended for articles about dead people (or people in Category:Possibly living people) whose historically recent year of birth is indicated, but the month and day are missing". In other words, it's wrong here, and the original category was right. That's a relief, as I added it using the very useful template {{L}} which provides a shortcut way to add birth and death date categories and a DEFAULTSORT in one quick line of typing. I've reverted your change on this article: please now go and revert yourself on any other articles where you have changed a correct to an incorrect category. Thanks. There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey.

An afterthought: did HOTCAT encourage you to do this change, or did it just make it easier for you to a change you'd already (mistakenly) decided on? I don't use HOTCAT, so this is a genuine question. If HOTCAT is leading editors into making incorrect edits, we need to point this out to the HOTCAT gurus so it can be corrected. Speedy tagging G1

Hi. Thanks for patrolling new pages, but please be careful about using WP:CSD#G1 patent nonsense. As the specification says, "This excludes poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, implausible theories, vandalism and hoaxes, fictional material, coherent non-English material, and poorly translated material." It is intended only for thing like "tj#6fXX#@~6%#" or "Yaaaaaaayyyy LOL!!!!!!!", and applying it to other things may cause offence to the author.

Though its title was garbled, Vijaysarabu aritcle was quite coherent - so much so that I put a sentence into Google (a useful thing to try with things that look a bit too well-written), found it was copied from http://www.mapsofindia.com/education/how-to-prepare/ias.html, and zapped it as copyvio.

And Kanchenjunga peak is being forcelly claimed as the prominent part of Sikkim, India.It also lies in Taplejung,Nepal but most of the tourists & trekkers have mistakenly believed it as an Indian mountain despite its a Nepali mountain.

I believe you are mistaken. An abbreviation at the end of a sentence, whether or not it is a place, does not take an additional period. Please see Full stop#Abbreviations and Haplography or any standard text. 72.251.70.36 (talk) 15:26, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
