April 2015 edit

Hello, I'm The Herald. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Taj Mahal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -The Heraldthe joy of the LORDmy strength 07:44, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Taj Mahal, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please see the same on tourism section of the article .......... -The Heraldthe joy of the LORDmy strength 08:45, 28 April 2015 (UTC) Dear Herald Thanks for pointing it our I have edited now with the reference, it is a gov site on Taj Mahal ArunReply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Taj Mahal. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -The Heraldthe joy of the LORDmy strength 09:00, 28 April 2015 (UTC) Its like you are repeating the thing.... Please stop...-The Heraldthe joy of the LORDmy strength 09:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC) Dear Herald The content is from a gov site and I don't understand what you mean by outsourced content, the official site of Taj mentioned the information Can you please let me know how to add the info I edited, I visted the Taj for night viewing and found it diffucltu to get info that is the reason I am editing it Please do help in editing it Thanks ArunReply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:59, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

April 2015 edit

Your recent editing history at Taj Mahal shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Yamuna River edit

Hi, Arunshank - thank you for your contribution of the image, however I had to remove it for the following reasons:

  1. An image of the river actually belongs with the article Yamuna River, and I saw where there is already one there.
  2. The image currently at the Yamuna River article is a much sharper, straighter image than the other which has a slanted horizon.

The Taj Mahal article has been prepped for FA review and is ready to go as is. Anything further you would like to add we ask that you please discuss on the TP first. Thank you for all the improvements you've made and the time you have invested on WP. AtsmeConsult 11:13, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Deo Somnath Temple moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Deo Somnath Temple, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
