ok, thank you for your advice. I am finding Wikipedia very confusing and I have already satisfied the notability requirement with a previous wiki editor, so unsure why it is still being raised... surely the references validate the claim? any help greatly appreciated, thank you.--ArtWriter1 (talk) 13:32, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Teddy m edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Teddy m requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. January 2017 edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Teddy m, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. 331dot (talk) 12:31, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Teddy m, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 13:26, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced content edit

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at Teddy M, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 14:50, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Barnstar! edit

This is probably the best day of my life. A real barnstar!!! Thank you. FriyMan (talk) 19:25, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Article talk pages edit

It is general practice on Wikipedia to keep article talk page posts, as a record of discussion as to why the article is the way it is. Please see the talk page guidelines for more information. It is acceptable to blank your personal user talk page, just not article talk pages. Thanks 331dot (talk) 18:33, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest editing edit

  Hello, ArtWriter1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Teddy M, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 08:24, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Melcous Melcous

Thank you for your advice. We would like to request you please review your deletion of the recent addition because, in our opinion, it contained factual information about the artist's notable clients and that in the context of an artist's achievements, such information is significant rather than mere promotion. We would like to thank you for your consideration and welcome your re-instatement or edit which you consider acceptable. Thank you. Apologies if the format of this comment is not entirely Wiki-correct, we find some of the protocol difficult to understand. Perhaps we could seek your help with regard to future edits by supplying you with information as and when please? Yours sincerely, ArtWriter1

As noted above and in the edit summary, if you think there is content that should be added to (or changed in) the article, the best thing to do is make the suggestion on the article's talk page so it can be reviewed by other editors who do not have a conflict of interest. The easiest way to do this is to use the Template:Edit request. If you have further questions, feel free to ask them here. thank you, Melcous (talk) 10:34, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Dear Melcous thank you for your advice.

Please do not mark your edits as "minor" unless they meet this criteria edit

  Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Melcous (talk) 22:41, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Dear Melcous thank you for your advice. I admit Wikipedia takes some understanding at times. Kind Regards ArtWriter1

Teddy McDonald edit

Hi, ArtWriter1. You need to disclose your conflict of interest, and I'd highly recommend you stop editing Teddy McDonald directly. —valereee (talk) 11:19, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Valereee: Hi, Valereee, I don't think you need to tell ArtWriter1 to disclose their conflict of interest, although I am already believing in the rumors that ArtWriter1 is Teddy McDonald himself since there kind of is enough evidence to partially prove it. The reason that I am telling you this is because ArtWriter1 hasn't made any edits since 3 March 2020. If you think you need to do something about this Teddy McDonald stuff (I feel like everyone that I know knows about this Teddy McDonald incident), please warn Willbackhouse1 on Willbackhouse1's talk page. Willbackhouse1 seems to be related to Teddy McDonald, and Darren-M has warned Willbackhouse1 of a potential conflict of interest (COI) about the article Teddy McDonald. Also, Willbackhouse1 hasn't been making edits for a period of time. Thank you. Friend505 20:05, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm well aware. —valereee (talk) 20:07, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
