Speedy deletion of Jack Wilshire edit

A tag has been placed on Jack Wilshire, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. roleplayer 21:23, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Terry Heartsfield edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Terry Heartsfield, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. roleplayer 21:25, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Jack Wilshire edit

A tag has been placed on Jack Wilshire requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. roleplayer 10:23, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Young Arsenal players edit

Please stop creating articles on these players. Guidelines state that only players who have made an appearance in a competitive and fully-professional competition can have articles. Wait until they make their debuts. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:27, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

He may well have a first team squad number, but he has never played for the club in a professional game. Pre-season friendlies do not count towards this. пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:33, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
No; they are pre-season friendlies. Once he plays in the PL or League Cup the article will be restored. пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:35, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, or the Champions League (or the FA Cup). I'd be surprised if he makes his first appearence in that though. пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
