Hello, I submited this article but I would like to know if the format is acceptable, and how can I get it published? When I do a search I cannot see it. If anyone can help by doing a minor edit and publish it that would be great, Thank you, --Annadoctor (talk) 03:21, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Annadoctor {{adminhelp}}Reply

You mean the article on your userpage? You'd need to move it into article space. I think it's okay with the exception of some things that need fixing. Note that even after it's in mainspace you won't immediately be able to find it through searches since web crawlers etc. need to index it first. -- Mentifisto 04:12, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I moved it to Michael Joubert and fixed some formatting (also we don't normally sign articles) - if you'd like to edit your userpage again you can do it here. -- Mentifisto 04:31, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi

The article is currently in your own user space, so it won't be seen by searching. To make an article, you need to copy it over. Edit the article, copy everything, then go to a non-existent page, such as Michael Joubert. Paste it in there and save. Hope this answers your question; lots more info below. Cheers! --  Chzz  ►  04:17, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Guess you answered your own question before I managed to save this message!

Welcome edit

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, Annadoctor. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started.

  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit on wikipedia, so, if you like, just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, and ignore all rules, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • I suggest that you try to improve a few articles first, before you make your own. Maybe look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.
  • If you need help, please ask! Edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

If you want to know more, there's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of wikipedia!

AfD nomination of Michael Joubert edit

I have nominated Michael Joubert, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Joubert. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message.  Chzz  ►  04:44, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

March 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Michael Joubert has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bflickr\.com/(?:photos|groups|search)\b (links: http://www.flickr.com/photos/venetiajoubert/3324856666/sizes/o/in/photostream/, http://www.flickr.com/photos/venetiajoubert/3324019277/sizes/o/, http://www.flickr.com/photos/venetiajoubert/3328182335/). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:18, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikilinks and refs edit

Hi there,

Regarding Michael Joubert;

  • It's not appropriate to use a picture as a reference to 'prove' someone has daughters.
  • Regarding the pictures of newspaper articles - I've changed this, because you just need to cite the papers, although I've let the imagess as 'convenience links' to the article.
  • Don't use other wikipedia articles (ie scamto as a reference; just wikilink the text in the article.

Please read [[WP:RS].

I think the article may be deleted anyway, as it does not meet WP:N requirements, but that will depend on the discussion in the 'articles for deletion'.

Thanks for your time,

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:34, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
