Disambiguation link notification for January 4 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Marathi films of 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Salaam. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

appropriate sourcing edit

Thanks for starting to add sources! However, bookmyshow, facebook, and marathistars are not appropriate sources to use as they do not have reputation for independence, fact checking and editorial oversight as required for Wikipedia.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:16, 23 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota (2015 film) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota (2015 film), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.wikigrain.org/?req=Sata+Lota+Pan+Sagla+Khota.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. July 2015 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give User:MichaelQSchmidt/Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Arbitrary changes at List of highest-grossing Indian films edit

Please don't make arbitrary changes as you did here at List of highest-grossing Indian films. There's no clear reason for you to reorder two films if they both grossed the same approximate amount. If there is a clear reason, using an edit summary would clarify that. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:42, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sairat has been nominated for Did You Know edit

DYK for Sairat edit

On 29 April 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sairat, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Sairat, which is set to be released today, is the first Indian film to include a symphonic score recorded in Hollywood? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sairat. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Sairat), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Trying to be over-smart? Are all 35 references at the bottom of articles coming from verified newspaper sources? I know many people like you masquerading as responsible editors, but in reality just shrill control freaks.

203.199.156.160 why dont you check it for yourself. All references are from verified websites.

Citing videos edit

Hi there, re: this edit, if you're going to cite a video, it might make more sense to use the {{Cite AV media}} template and link directly to the YouTube video. The {{Cite AV media}} template will allow you to add an approximate time where the information appears. This is generally a slightly better practice than requiring editors to watch an entire video to find the information they need. Thanks and regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:06, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cyphoidbomb Thanks for the info mate. Done citing a video with {{Cite AV media}}.Thanks again.
Instead of reverting my edits you both Shanthiniketan and PlutoniumBackToTheFuture should check above message from Master Editor. Thanks and regards, Ani_007d
Related: please see this in case you wish to elaborate. I don't know anything about the source other than it's a verified channel. I've never heard of Lehren TV. But more importantly, since the quote of 110 crore came from someone who is not a journalist, Viveck Vaswani (a producer/director), I don't think it's out of the question for someone to challenge the information. It's not like Lehren TV vets everything that anyone says on their channel. If the interviewer is a respected reporter and she said it, then your position would have a stronger base, again assuming Lehren TV in general is considered a reliable source. Please keep that in mind if you choose to participate in the discussion. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:07, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Hi Cyphoidbomb, Yes I have seen the msg on PlutoniumBackToTheFuture,I have left message there too.Lehren is media and entertainment website. Bharathi Pradhan is Senior Journalist and Author and Viveck Vaswani is producer. If the person is not reliable the why would he be invited on show business talk. And if Lehren.tv channel is not reliable then why would Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama(Indian film Critic and Business Analyst) make appearance on the show for previous show business talk episode here[1]. So my point is Leren.tv is reliable source and Bharathi Pradhan is respected reporter Regards,Ani_007d

Copyright violations edit

Please don't add any text that's been copied straight from the source to Wikipedia articles, as you did in Sairat. It is a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy, and this applies even if it's just a single sentence, unless it is a paer of a direct quote within quotation marks. Wikipedia takes copyright issues very seriously, and users who repeatedly break the copyright policy will be blocked. (In addition the text from the newspaper was unsuitable for Wikipedia because it was badly written, and also because it said "it is now set to..." - that works in a newspaper because the reader will know when "now" is by looking at the date, but in an encyclopedia article it makes no sense to the reader.) Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 09:17, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Bonadea Sure,Thanks for the info mate.

September 2018 edit

Hello Ani 007d. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ani 007d. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ani 007d|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. WBGconverse 12:31, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello User:Winged Blades of Godric I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for edits. If you got that impression, it is because I have special interest in movies specifically Marathi movies.
Also please advise if I can edit further?
Waiting for your response...Thank You!

Proposed deletion of Sanskruti Balgude edit

The article Sanskruti Balgude has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A product of undeclared paid editing so the neutrality is highly questionable, together with the fact that it is incomprehensible to a significant extent.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
