Peer Review

The additions of the short stories “Ringtail” and “The Caucasian Storms Harlem,” and novel “The Walls of Jericho,” are excellent in their writing styles and in that they express why these stories are important to the author/the Harlem Renaissance. I also like that more information was added to Fisher’s bio to flesh out his medical career a little more. This page appears to already have a lot that was complete, so I appreciate that you were able to make significant contributions as to what the author’s works were like. I think some more citations could be used in the sections about “The Caucasian Storms Harlem” and “The Walls of Jericho.” Additionally, I think that you should try to expand a little on Fisher’s story “High Yaller” if you are able to find the story, as what is already in the article is lacking a little. Finally, just a personal preference of mine, but I suggest capitalizing “Black” and “White” when referring to people’s races. Halleylane (talk) 16:12, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Wow, this article is very well-done! It was very well organized and full of detailed, valuable information. Although the article is very expansive and covers so many parts of Rudolph Fisher's life, I think it would be beneficial to expand on his early life some more. That section is very bare in comparison to other sections. Some details about his childhood would be very interesting to read about. Also, the same could be said for the section on Pan-Africanism. Other than expanding in those two areas, I felt as though the article flowed beautifully and it is obvious that extensive research was put into this page. Great job.
